The hotel has a lot of character and I really enjoyed it since the location is great. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Bathroom was a little tight but the building is hundreds of years old so understandable.

The location was great, air con was great in the heat. Staff were courteous and helpful if needed.
I felt safe with my daughter who was 10 at the time, 25 euros In a taxi from the station, lots of cafe, restaurants and shops around.
The shower did block but was fine

It is really well located, close to major attractions and to the metro.
Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing due to the behavior of the person at the reception during check-in. We arrived early in the morning and, since our room was not ready, we left our backpacks and went to explore the city. When we came back later that night to check in, the man at the counter was extremely rude. He didn’t understand when I asked for my backpack and started mocking me when I tried to explain myself. He even made jokes about me in front of my husband and insulted people from my country (in South America), saying we were “stupid” because we didn’t understand our own history. It was a very unpleasant experience, I just wanted to get my backpack and rest after a long day, but I was left feeling humiliated and uncomfortable.
