Worst Experience at Hilton Shillim

The drive to the property

Maintainance of the room Weak wifi Shower knobs were opposite.....scalding hot water when we turn it to cold Extreamly high pricing of food ...not worth it Went to one of their restaurants and post 1 hour of sitting there nobody came to take orders Pathetic staff response General Manager did not even bother to meet.... Spa prices vs experience is totally skewed

It did not meet the expectations of the Hilton Brand

Nice location,well spread out and felt private

Writing this review taking into account the Brand and pricing .Structurally too many steps to get in or out of the villa.transportation between villa and facilities was not very convenient. Food was very nice mini bar was empty,but was stocked up by request only which was no use because the fridge was not functioning No bathrobes in the room Wifi connection was very poor and kept dropping. some of the staff members didn't respond to our thank you. the experience did not meet the standards I expected from Hilton properties. Value for money 👎🏻

Forest and nature bathing!

Above expectation! Loved the experience of waking up in the heart of nature! A very friendly staff specially the one who was doing the farm tour, and Lokom! They tried to accommodate my request for a special food request, activities, and others! Thank you Devarshree and Nafis for making our stay extraordinary!

Peaceful stay in wilderness, away from all the chaos !

The property is well maintained, amidst nature, food is delicious. The King Forest villas offer excellent privacy. Their bathrooms are huge and so well designed that they give a very earthy experience. The staff was courteous. I did Tibetan bowl meditation which was a very calming experience for me.

Well, I’m someone who does not enjoy so much seclusion offered by property. Someone who loves privacy, will enjoy the property. I was scared of intruder, wild life, and snakes entering the room. You have to keep the doors closed all the time as mentioned in the stay. It will be worthwhile for the property to add more activities to do in the resort.

No activities so our stay got quite boring after a point. The buffet spread was average. Generally, the food quality was at best average (with the exception of Tiramisu in one of the restaurants which was quite tasty)

The check-in experience could have been better. After check-in we had to wait 20 mins for the Car/buggy to get to our room.

The hotel's location is amazing, and the room we stayed in was quite spacious. The beautiful infinity swimming pool and the stream walk activity experience were great as well.

The check-in process was the worst we have ever encountered. We arrived early at the property and requested an early check-in, to which they said they would try their best. Despite reminding them multiple times, they kept telling us they were still trying. Eventually, we were given the room at the standard check-in time of 3 pm. They sent us to the room in their own vehicle, used to ferry guests within the property. However, to our shock, upon reaching the room, which was 2.5 km from the lobby, we found it locked, and the driver didn't have the keys. He left us without even informing us, forcing us to walk back in the rain to seek help. Luckily, we found a helpful security guard who used a Master Key to open the room for us. We promptly complained about this incident to the hotel staff, but they were neither apologetic nor polite. After a 30-minute delay, they finally sent the room keys, and our luggage arrived one hour after checking in. We had to make multiple calls to the hotel staff, including their duty manager, Mr. Nelson, who only provided excuses and attempted to blame his own staff and internal systems. Additionally, the lunch and dinner served at the restaurant were disappointing, as they were cold and had a limited spread. Furthermore, after meals, we had to wait for 30-45 minutes to get transportation back to our room. The hotel staff seemed untrained and unprofessional, which was far from the standard of service we would expect from a Hilton Group of hotels.

We had an extremely pleasant stay.

We visited the resort to celebrate our anniversary and we received a warm welcome and upgrades for the same. Special thanks to Mr. Piyush who also organised a cake and decorations for us.

Breakfast was not as good as we expected. Service was slow and food quantity was less.

Extremely disappointing. wasted our time and money

We had a horrible experience! While the location is beautiful and rooms are spacious, the service is extremely poor. They were short staffed and not enough vehicles to take the guests around. It took them an hour and half to deliver our luggage to our room when we checked in. The Mountain Bar which has a great view is extremely mismanaged. Mediocre food that is if the food on menu is available. Tarazoo restaurant was the only saving grace. Food and service there was good. While checking out there was a scratch on our car. Cars of several other guests were also damaged. Will not recommend.
