Résid'Spa Loire & Sèvre

Quiet oasis, close to city centre sights.

Room was spacious with well equipped kitchen including fridge and kettle. Also decent TV. No Air conditioning though.

No Air Conditioning. Also we were charged 15 Euros per person per day to use the small pool.

My wife and I booked a Studio without Spa Access for 1 night as we were travelling from Bergerac to Brittany. We didnt want to stay in the centre of Nantes so thought that Reze would be a good alternative. The Resid Spa is not a typical hotel. It is an aparthotel built around a spa/pool wellbeing centre with 17 large (ours was 334 sq ft) single story modern apartments/studios/ villas, each with a kitchenette and a terrace and a small garden area. Our studio was very comfortable and well equipped. We were aware that there is no restaurant on site but you can order a continental breakfast to be delivered to your room at a time of your choosing - it was excellent! Resid Spa is located in the Pont Rousseau district and is in a residential area. It's a short walk from the Loire and Sevre Nantaise Rivers and stops for a regular tram into Nantes Centre. The complex is gated and there is ample car parking which is free and does not have to be reserved - one of the reasons we chose the accomodation. We asked reception for a suggestion for a venue for dinner and Table D'Edouard at The Ibis Hotel, c15 min walk away. Unfortunately, although the restaurant was almsot empty when we arrived c730pm, we were advised that they only accept hotel guests to dine there. They did suggest Le Wilton - a bar/brasserie/with segregated pool tables - a 7 min walk further into the industrial estate. It was definitely popular, especially with those aged 25 to 30s but the food, wine and service there was very good.
