Chamois d'Or was the 77th hotel we had stayed in over our 3-month cycling journey thru Switzerland, Austria and France and rates for us as one of the better ones. There was nothing Vicky, the owner/manager, could have done to make it more welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable.
The hotel foyer is attractive and warm and that feeling was with us during our stay, which was only for 1 night leaving us with the thought that there will have to be a next time. The room we had was quite large and very clean. A spa and sauna room is available for guests on reservation offering private space to relax and chill.
Secure bike storage was available in a large, locked room under the hotel with space for road/gravel and mountain bikes and ski equipment.
The foyer offered reception, a bar and quick access to the dining area where nightly meals and breakfast is served. Unfortunately for us the hotel restaurant was closed on our stay however Vicky suggested a number of options in the town centre 100m away on the same street. Breakfast was superb - a huge selection to choose from with offers for something to be cooked and served fresh.
We had no expectations what to expect in Les Gets and were completely surprised to find the lively town such a lovely place to stay. Chamois d'Or Hotel fitted in very nicely to our experience

A comfortable room with enough space to move around a good sized bed. Bathroom was clean, bright and spacious. The room had a very much needed large fan.
There was no fridge and the TV was not internet connected.

A stay in this small, nice hotel is always a pleasure. Close to village center but in a quiet spot. Alpine style furnished, spacious rooms, high quality breakfast, lovely and very professional owners always ready to fulfill guests' needs. A nice SPA, comfortable hall and bar, ski/bike room at guests' disposal and free parking just in front of the hotel complete the beautyful picture.
I can't find anything wrong in this hotel (a bike-wash could be an extra cuddle for bikers)

The breakfast was really good and a perfect way to start a day's skiing
The staff were very friendly at all times - loved their link with the Ukraine
The provision of ski hire on site was perfect
Evening drinks before going out for dinner - equally pleasant
Our room was fine but would have been great had it been larger for our group
