Location right in the middle of the activities and by the beach. Kids flying fox and the mini golf right outside. The room was big enough for us and the bathroom was a good size. Nice and comfortable for a family. The shower was very welcoming for the kids who braved it to go for a swim despite the cold and rain. Loved the kitchen with everything but the food supplied so we could cook all our meals.
Didn't see or get to speak to any staff especially when according to the reviews they are very friendly. But they left the key and instructions so we could settle in.

Convenient location with everything within walking distance.
It is noisy but that said it is a backpackers. The kitchen facilities could do with an upgrade on the ovens, hot plates and microwaves. We had no idea who was staff and who were other guests. We picked up our key from an unattended desk and dropped it off the same way.
