Perfect location

Breakfast was great big selection of food stayed in one of the villas which was excellent Rates are a bit on the high side but worth a one off stay Amazing staff at all levels

Great Hotel, and fabulous location! So close to everything. We'll be back.

My wife and I were staying only for 1 night at the Hotel as we had booked the Hot Air Ballooning experience, which included the buffet breakfast at the Hotel. Even though it was a short stay, we were impressed with the swim-up-bar, room and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. We'll definately be back.

The carpark cost came as a surprise. It would have been nice for this to be included in the cost of stay.

Not happy.

Room was clean. No bad smells. Beds were comfortable.

Don't bother paying extra for a lagoon side room. You cannot swim in the lagoon, worms were seen in the water. $20 a day parking cost $100 deposit has still not been refunded.

Enjoyed our weekend

The service was great, such a pretty location. Great main pool and bar.

Hotel is very outdated now. The pools around the hotel (not the main one) were fairly dirty but the GC had just had a lot of rain. Seafood buffet wasn't very big for the price.

a very well organised resort with all the trimmings to make a break very welcome

location was good with restaurants close by, unfortunately weather wasnt the best for beaching. however pool and lush grounds were very enticing for a dip and to blow those cobwebs away. All in all a very pleasant breakaway

Good other than room issue for what we paid for 1 night more than $900 and also why there surcharge in such a big chain

Location ambience

The room I booked per detail from booking.com is per below (Mirage Double Room with Two Double Beds and Resort View) But when I checked-in we just got 1 room with 2 double beds. I was not happy that way. Hotel said they don’t have that room available. So not sure if this booking.com issue giving wrong information about the room while booking or is that something with hotel. We had no choice but to accept as is.

The dinning was very disappointing. Evening a la cart had a poor choice and quality poor. Buffet was under expectations Pool side service could be improved.

Boring food menu. No specials listed . Seafood buffet standard

terrible experience

location was good. close to the seaworld, beach

we stayed 3 nights, but they never clean the room or change supplements even though we requested numerous times. lots of bugs like mosquitoes and ants.

great location for beach which was one of the reasons I booked this place

location was great, clean towels and made up room everyday. the free water was very handy and accessible especially on hot summer days. Access to beach towels very handy and accessible.

Unfortunately the room wasn't clean, upon arrival there was a dead cockroach in between the sliding doors, a spider in the bathroom and spider web in corner of room and lamp on side of bed. The carpet was not vacuumed to standard as there was a slipper under the bed. The security gate on the south side of the complex was broken and not working for most of the 6 days I was there. I did report this to the front desk and to the bar area. I think it just needs a few tweaks on cleanliness and some friendly smiling faces around the resort would help as well to get it back to the acceptable standard based on value. Overall the standard was disappointing compared to 5-8 years ago when I was there last.

Absolute perfection

The beautiful Sheridan Grande Mirage resort was exquisite. Perfect location right on the beach. The food was impeccable at the in-house restaurants - Breakfast buffet is a must do - even room service was amazing. Highly recommend the New York baked cookie with vanilla bean icecream as a treat. Staff were wonderful - friendly and obliging. Parking on site for $20 daily was so convenient. Rooms were serviced daily too. Fresh sheets and towels. Fresh towels by the pool also noting Pool was a lovely temperature too. Plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas available.

Unless the property gets an upgrade it’s a complete waste of money.

Beach access and location.

It is so tired and in need of a renovation. The pictures of the pools and water features of the property are completely deceptive. For the entire resort they have one pool with more than 200 sun beds for all of those people. The pool is over crowded, soupy and disgusting. They had to close the pool one afternoon after a “code brown” (guest pooed in the pool) and there was no alternative to swim unless you can manage the ocean for more than half the day in 35 degree heat, it’s not good enough. Rooms run down and tired. There are not enough staff to keep the property clean , especially pool side and surrounding areas and so for a five star resort it’s really really under whelming and disappointing given the prices they are charging.

A wonderful experience that left me feeling looked after and safe.

I loved the atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The chefs were so obliging in the restaurant with dietary requirements. The pools and lagoons were beautiful to look across and the beach access is convenient. I also loved the water stations to fill up drink bottles with a strong sustainability message.

There was a bit of mould in the bathroom that needs a freshen up.

Would not recommend under any circumstances.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with very little to offer and honestly, run down. An example would be the hot tub in my room’s washroom- It was worn out, the paint was chipping away and for the amount of money which was well over AUD $500 a night, I got nothing but disappointment all around. And also, I ordered room service. Fries were 11 bucks, but then they charged me an extra 8 for room service?

Relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The check in process was seamless with professional and friendly service, the inclusive breakfast was amazing, we had the best night's sleep due to comfort of bedding and pillows. The complimentary cocktails at La Luna Beach Club kick started the evening, and the location was convenient as we had travelled the coast for a sunset yacht cruise leaving from the marina.
