I made a mistake and booked a small room without a kitchen and without a table + chairs, and since we stayed few days it was missing

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s a lovely small property, only 3 rooms. Cesare gave us a very warm welcome and was most accommodating by letting us check in slightly after 9pm due to our flight times (we had arranged this in advance). He gave us lots of great recommendations for where to eat in the local area and where to get the best coffee which was so helpful! He lives a couple of floors above with his family so it was good to know he was close by in case of any issues.
The property itself is really well located, less than a 10 minute walk to the funicular to get to Citta Alta and around 15-minute walk to the train station. Also right by the bus stop for the station and airport. The room was straightforward but exactly what we wanted, and was clean and quiet. We were lucky to have a small kitchen in our room which was very useful with the fridge etc. There is a Conrad supermarket a few mins walk away (which we didn’t discover until our last day unfortunately!) and a Carrefour not too far either. Lots of restaurants and cafes (bars) nearby.
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay, we would definitely stay again if in Bergamo and would recommend to others!
The only slight confusion we had was with housekeeping - we didn’t realise there was this service but then it appeared someone did come every day to empty the bins, sometimes they made the bed and sometimes not, and the towels were not changed. This wasn’t a problem as we were fine to reuse towels but it was just a bit confusing. However I am sure if we had asked Cesare to clarify or for clean towels then this would have been provided :)

Everything was just perfect! Location great, near the Railway Station and also near Cable Car to Citta Alta. Staff, Cesare, very very nice and helpful, recommended great Restaurant for us. Cleanliness excellent.

The location is perfect, nothing to complain. Close to everything: Citta Alta, train station, restaurants & shops, bus stops. Cesare, the host, was exceptionally friendly and very helpful! It was okay overall.
I think the value for money is lacking a bit. The decoration is quite dated, the 2 single beds as one bed is quite uncomfortable to sleep as a couple. There is no real curtain, so it's really bright during the evening. There was no option to have breakfast included. As a "B&B", why wouldn't it be included? Very odd. I think the prices should be cheaper for what you get, or they should renovate and make it more stylish, comfortable and add some character. Tea bags seemed really old. Wifi was very unstable. Water in shower didn't warm up one morning.
