Great location for shopping in the city. Clean room and very comfortable bed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great meals in the restaurant
Bathroom tap seemed to be the wrong type for the basin, the water would spray over us if we used too much tap pressure.

Central location. A cafe and pub downstairs. Parking around the back.
The heating didn’t reach the bathroom and toilet so they were often freezing. The trucks or buses outside woke us up a few times in the early hours.

Lovely old art deco building
I found the pictures a little misleading, from them it looked like the rooms were a lot more modern than they were. Our room felt very tired, dated and small. The bed was comfortable but soft and the bathroom although quite spacious had a triangular shower cubicle with the fixed shower head in the worst possible place making it a very tight shower (I’m only a small 5’3”). The shower also had faulty taps meaning that the water was very cold or scalding hot, it was hard to get a happy medium.
We also found the hotel to be noisy, not road or people noisy just generally the building was noisy like we were sleeping next to a really loud dishwasher.
