The Chateau exceeded hope and expectations. An exceptional venue in fairytale surroundings.
Reception warmly greeted us and so did the house pets 😄
Nothing was too much effort. The junior suite was beautiful and the perfect arrangement even though I visited with my mother. We had two twin beds in a meze style apartment with all the dream perks, such as the ‘walk-in wardrobe.’ Chocolates were hidden in all corners of the chateau ready for guests to stumble upon and enjoy. ‘Treat’ was the theme of the experience and the atmosphere was private, relaxing and idyllic.
There were only very tiny things that could have been improved upon. I hadn’t understood the jacuzzi, which was only a put up install jacuzzi was for private use only and bookable at over thirty euros per hour. I thought this was truly expensive and should have been included for all guests with the pool facilities. It wasn’t part of an actual spar, and more a jacuzzi people would have at home in their garden. I however, appreciate the maintenance and cleaning costs for this equipment.
I also felt that some staff weren’t particularly over friendly. They were polite and would help if approached and asked to but it seemed they were busy and would rather get on with their agendas for the day than offer overly amiable service. I do note however, reception staff couldn’t have done any more for us and were lovely and welcoming.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. The property was perfect. A dream stay and I’d be lucky to ever return. Thank you so much 😄🩷

The chateau itself is restored really well and our rooms were lovely

Lovely, secluded, tranquil.
Restaurant was great, catered for our dietary needs (Veggie which can be tricky in France). Free welcome drink with dinner.
Lovely dog.
Cool location, especially if you want to drive some very tight winding mountain roads.
Take bug spray, we got bitten in the evening.
Location is great to have a relaxing stay but there ins't a huge amount around there if you're looking for anything else to do.
Very dark at night as you're in the middle of nowhere.

Dinners were to very high standard.
Hotel lies on the side of a gorge. Astonishing views.
