Hotel Puerto Gaviota

We liked the location in Tonsupa it was near to the beach, with its own footpath to the beach, it was in a more tranquil spot than some areas in Tonsupa. The service was very good and the staff, mainly the family who owned the hotel were very friendly and helpful . The room was very clean and well equipped. It had nice rooms surrounding the pool and lots of nice gardens and plants and little touches. The only other comment was my partner asked the receptionist when we booked in if she could arrange to cook some boiled eggs for us, which we had brought with us, as we originally intended to stay in an apartment elsewhere with a kitchen, but now we had a hotel room.. They agreed to do this.

The only small complaint was that although the room had proper air conditioning, it was very noisy when switched on and didn't have quiet night time setting. The only other comment was my partner asked the receptionist when we booked in if she could arrange to cook some boiled eggs at breakfast, so as not to waste them, they said yes, but when we came to check out they charged us for boiling the eggs. I was a little surprised, I had a cash tip ready to give them for great service and a really nice hotel . But in the end I just paid them extra for boiling eggs, as I thought they should have mentioned this charge before they agreed to do it.
