Fantastic location in a neighborhood, not the tourist area, but close enough to walk to Mambo Beach if you want to. The ocean is across the street, as well as a new community park with palapas, playground, places for people to sit with their feet in the water, and a coffee shop, smoothie shop, and bar. Walk two minutes and you can get in the water via an access point. Not really a beach, but access and we had a wonderful time watching local families play, work out, etc. and we jumped in the water after our day of diving. There's a great reef literally in front of the house as well, and we did 2 dives there. Can walk to a grocery store for basics, or to Mambo Beach. Literally 2 blocks from The Dive Bus.
I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but it's hot in Curacao, and screens on all the windows would be great so we could open them in the evening for the ocean breeze would be nice. There are a lot of bugs - like anywhere- and we didn't open the wooden slat windows in evening to keep them out.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower and separate toilet area were pleasantly large.
The view from the bottom apartment, where we stayed, was definitely not a beautiful sea view. When we walked out to the street, however, the view improved. The apartment was also very dark and unwelcoming, considering where we were. Lastly, while the beach is right across the road, the swimmable area is down a bit further, which was fine, but after coming from the northern part of the island, we were hoping for better.
