Every thing was clean and the staff friendly. I loved the garden.
Gizmo loved being so close to grass. Gizmo is my little white dog. the fan was a big help in the heatwave. good shower pressure and hot water.
No coffee for the coffee machine.Tricky opening the door.

We had pretty low expectations. The room we were in was on the upper floor in the back with a balcony and outside access to the patio. The room was small and in need of major renovation, but was acceptable for a place to sleep, shower, and keep our things while we were out viewing the city. There were ample electrical outlets and a television in the room. The shower was small and the shower wand holder was broken, so the shower wand had to be held during the entire shower. The toilet room was a bit small, and the door opened into the room, which made it difficult to get into and out of. The door needs to be remounted to open outward.
The hall definitely needs to have a new floor put in, along with a subfloor. There was carpeting / rug over the middle of the hall floor, but the floor was quite uneven and noisy to walk on.
As our room was in the upper back of the building, there were no noise problems. We didn't hear any noises from other guests.
The downstairs area was fairly large. The kitchen is well-enough equipped (microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, etc. The dining area / lounging area was large and comfortable and there was a pleasant outdoor area with garden and seating.
All said. I wouldn't stay here again, as the comfort level was too low and the entire building in need of major renovation. It is acceptable as a low-cost option. The staff were friendly and allowed us to store our bags for a couple hours after check-out so that we could see a few things before catching our train.
The entire building is quite in need of renovation. Although the shower and toilet spaces are small, they could be made much more functional with renovation and the hallway floor absolutely needs to be renovated.
