We had a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view was absolutely amazing. The hotel even fulfilled a special wish for my son by arranging a room on a high floor. This made our stay in Macau truly unforgettable. Thank you for your kindness and wonderful hospitality. We would definitely come back!

The entire experience at Altira was fantastic. Everything starts with how they greet and treat you at arrival, where you feel that the service is on a high level. It continued to be so throughout the stay. I stayed in the Waterfront View King Room, which was spacious and practical. All the details are in place, as expected from a high-end hotel. Ordered in-room service several times, because it was delicious and enabled me to eat and enjoy the view from the room. Bed was very comfortable, AC could be set to a non-intrusive fan speed & everything was spotless. Special thanks goes to Mr. Stephen from the front desk, who helped me solve the problem of the no-show charge from the first night.

The location of the hotel is scenic overlooking the whole Macau.
Accessibility to food outlets is limited.

The room
The experience at the Bar 38: cocktails were very bad, I ordered a Mojito and it came up a Virgin Mojito without any taste, it was only lime, mint leaves and tonic water with ice. Guests were smoking inside the bar in the indoor area. Staff didn't want to give us a table and made us go around between outdoor and indoor. Finally they sensed that we were about to leave and showed us a table near the stage and said that it was reserved but they were pretty sure that the other customer wouldn't show up …
Cleaning staff asked us if we needed our room clean, we agreed and came back from the pool to see the room in the exact same mess.
The access to the hotel was insane. There's no Vallet parking and we came up from the car park from the lift to Ground 0. There you go out of the door and they ask you for the health code. You need to step out that door to go to the main door and there again they'll ask you for the health code. The lobby isn't on that floor, you need to catch the lift to the 38th. There you do your check in and after that you take another lift in a different area that brings you down to your room . If you want to go out of the hotel this is also the procedure but in reverse.
We wanted to try Aurora restaurant, but on our first night it was closed due to CNY . And because it was still CNY on the next day, they told us that some parts of their menu were not available.
