Not good wont book again

Location

Booked a king room with a double bedand they put us in a room with 2 single beds and 2 bunkbeds , we complained and they had no kingrooms left

Excellent value, location & service

Everything was great. Group of friends booked several dorms. Facilities were great, location couldn't be better but was quiet also. / could sleep at night. :-)

Only small gripe was the top bunks can be difficult to climb up to, particurally if you've had a few troo many beverages! An offset ladder would be better.

Great one night stay

Very convenient location, in the middle of everything. Can get a bit noisy until late because of that. Room was okay and it has a large storage cabinet that you can lock and use to store your things (ideally bring your own padlock) Lovely bar area and even had live music that day, overall great stay.

Extra expenses, for example for renting a towel or leaving the luggage in storage after check out (charge per each item of luggage); check out policy is at 10 and should you consider check out at 12 then you have to pay a fee Continental breakfast is not worth it at all in my opinion, very few choices, there was no cooked breakfast option available at that time (1 hr before breakfast closing)

Acceptable, not bad and also not exceptional

The room was clean, the mattrass and pillow was confortable, the living room is spacious

every service you have to pay like store luggage, towel, late checkout…not like other hostels which are free, and than the breakfast for the latest arrivals he finds nothing like me, no bread, no croissant, not fruits !!! Everything is empty.

Some staff great others... Not

The day staff were lovely.

They booked someone into my bed the night I was staying in it (as in, I was woken up by the guy confused why I was in the bed he was assigned). Went to reception and he said I had been moved, but I hadn't been told... But we sorted it out after some time and it was ok. Next day I followed up, and it turned out that receptionist had made a mistake and written down the wrong bed but then lied to protect himself and blamed the system - the guy who was given the wrong bed had never been assigned my bed.

Lads weekend away. Great location. Nice rooms. Helpful staff.

The location was great, right in the heart of all the nightlife. Beds were fine. I didn't spend long enough in them. No issue with noise personally. Great value for money. Staff were very helpful.

There is no negatives as far as I am concerned. I wouldn't stay here if I wanted a quiet weekend away though :-)

가려던 곳의 버스가 바로 옆 골목이라 좋았다. 골목 앞에 가게가 다 밀집되어 있다.

Понравилось месторасположение, не далеко от ЖД вокзала.

Было шумно, играла музыка с каждого бара. На против лестницы по которой нужно взбираться на кровать, стояла металлическая труба.

Bom, mas atenção ao barulho

O hostel é muito bonito e realmente bastante confortável. Ganha destaque a localização (próximo a tudo).

Fiquei no primeiro andar e reforço os comentários anteriores: infelizmente a região apresenta muitos bares e há muito barulho a noite, motivo pelo qual acredito que possa incomodar os ouvidos de pessoas mais exigentes.

You get what you pay for.

Ok all the staff were fantastic, the breakfast was great as well. The shower had good pressure and heat. The location was great for getting places. And the price was spot on.

No window handle so there wasn't good noise control and that was needed as you are above one of the busiest live music and drinking places in Liverpool. It was a bit grim and dirty, I found a beer bottle stuffed down the mattress when I arrived, you can hear people using the toilet as there is no sound proofing. No shower mat so water everywhere all the time. I was a bit peeved to find out they had half done a renovation and some rooms had new mattresses, I don't think staff should have mentioned that to me as there was a pile of brand new ones next to us but not on my bunk. There are no curtains on the beds which is a must in hostels, I made my own with a washing line. The pillow was bad quality and solid.. My towel stank of food that I paid for and I saw why their clean towels are stored above a pizza oven so you're gonna be drying with baked cheese smell. Also I was lucky I had my ID but it wasn't clear in the booking that you need a photo ID. I saw two guys get refused at check in.

Great place!

Great location, right by the pubs of the caverm quarter and in a walking distance of most other points of interest. Staff was nice, and there's a discount on the food and drinks for those staying in the hotel. Would love to go back.

There's a lot of noise from the outside. To my understanding they are working on upgrading the windows, so hopefully, it will not be a problem soon. Also, asking for money for luggage storage (same day) is a bit strange, in my opinion, but at least it's a reasonable price.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo

Ostello estremamente centrale, ottimo per esplorare la città. Staff cordiale e stanza pulita, letti con mensola e prese di corrente personali.

La strada sottostante (Mathew Street) è piena di locali e rumorosa, immagino in particolare nel fine settimana, quindi se avete il sonno leggero questo potrebbe non essere l'ostello per voi. Nella stanza mancavano appendini per le giacche e anche in bagno non c'erano ganci per i vestiti, che sarebbero stati un'utile aggiunta.

Could be better

The location is great (of course, noisy during the night, but I knew that already) and the staff was friendly (I was received by a kind lady with what I believe was a german accent). The room was less than I expected: a similar one -private- as in a hostel such as YHA near Albert Dock was far better and bigger (I rented that one in 2019). The door of the shower needed to be fixed, no towels (only by paying £ 3, which is scandalous, so it should be £ 12 por four people). No chairs. The doors of the building and the bar are closed too early considering the area in which is placed (10pm). Is not awful, but could be much better with just a couple of things.

Great other then above

Clean and tidy comfortable done what it said on the tin

I rang arranged the accommodation that I wasn’t going to be there as I was in Gran Canaria and someone else was checking in late about 10 that I won’t be there lady in her 60s and gransdson the girl I spoke with assured me I didn’t need to do anything but the guy on reception wouldn’t let them check in took 2 hours to get it sorted

Posizione ottima, zona rumorosa

Posizione eccezionale per visitare Liverpool, zona centralissima. Camera e bagno puliti. Personale gentile.

L'unica pecca è che essendo vicino ai locali, si sente la musica per tutta la notte.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights, specially if you are a music fan.

The location is perfect and the staff is really kind. The restaurant is nice and clean. The rooms are ok.

Breakfast was not included.

Don't expect a lot of sleep here

The desk staff were very helpful

It's slap bang in middle of loudest street in Liverpool, music blasting to all hours. Revellers making a racket in the street long after music stops. Inconsiderate people sharing the rooms making a racket when they come in after a night on the lash. Don't expect a lot of sleep here.

A large "gaile" In the town. (( don't recommend.

1. Too noise. 2. Too much people. They move during all night. I can't sleep at all. 3. Check in at 4 pm!!! 4. Check out 10 am!!!

Nice stay, but I only recommend if you are going out drinking.

The location of the hostel is great for being in the middle of the town and close to the pubs/clubs, its on the same street as many pubs/clubs and even the famous cavern club. This is a plus if you are visiting Liverpool for drinking and going out during the night. The hostel was clean, which I was very happy with. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very HOT! I would not recommend staying here during the summer, I wasn't expecting any air conditioning, but I do think they would benefit from installing it in the rooms. As mentioned the hostel is located on the same street as many clubs/bars so the noise is constant throughout the night. I know this cannot be controlled by the hostel, but when you cannot close the window because the room is too hot, the noise does become an issue. I would also like to point out that the rooms are not very sound proof as we could hear everything in the hall way the rooms next to us, but again you get what you pay for.

La ubicación, está en el medio de todo

La pieza no era como en las fotos, era una pieza muy pequeña, dónde habían dos camarotes y solo dos lockers, no habían ventanas, por ende no había ventilación, tampoco contaba con aire acondicionado, así que había un ventilador, que hacía mucho ruido y tenía que estar prendido, hacia calor en Liverpool, por lo que estar en la pieza era insufrible, creo que el precio es mucho o por último fotos más parecidas a la realidad. El personal era muy pesado.

Great stay!

This hostel is right in the centre of Liverpool at the corner of Mathew Street. This makes it a great location, but because of this there's a lot of noise coming into the room from the streets and pubs outside.

The ensuite showers weren't very clean. The toilets were, but the shower and full bathroom had this black mold all over the walls and ceilings. Should be cleaned up, but not so bad that it really influences the experience.

Very good

noise was high from local bars. location is ideal for travelers. room and bed was fairly fine. I forgot something and left town, which was found and posted back to me in good condition by the staff, in a self addressed envelope I sent. Very grateful for that.

Value for your money

The place was clean and economical. The customer service was very good. I like the fact that the toilet and bath are not in the same place, there is privacy when using the toilet or bath.

I don't like the loud music from outside, although I slept. The hostel is not that spacious. I don't think they have kitchen, although I didn't ask.
