Good location good rooms

Small tv and the bathrooms( I had two different rooms) smelt like they had a drain problem as both smelt bad

Nothing - all was awesome

Loved the location, close to everything and still quite private. Plenty of easy parking available. Room was clean and the beds were fantastic and super comfy! Two types of pillows, one firm and one med/soft to cater to your preference (I like soft) with extra blankets & pillows available in your wardrobe. Plenty of clean towels, hand towels, bathmats available and kitchenette was well supplied with all you would expect. The staff were all friendly and courteous.

None of these are deal breakers as I really like staying here, but should be made aware of. The tv is not a smart tv so couldn't log into any of my subscriptions to watch certain sporting channels or Netflix, Disney etc, also very small screens, time to upgrade to larger smart tvs I think. Chairs at the table need addressing, when you sit on them there is no support in the middle so you sink inside the frame of the seat, quite uncomfortable and you can't sit on them for long before your legs start hurting. Thought it was just one chair but they were all like that. The shower lets water out so needed to put a towel down to soak up all the water, the shower felt a little too small due to its angled walls, and was always bumping my elbows on the walls. And the last thing, not the hotel's fault but something to be aware of, unfortunately our room was directly opposite the logging yards at the port and our last night was marred by the port moving logs all night long! Banging of the knuckleboom loaders against the logs, rumbling of log stacks being collapsed, loader machinery noise, all going all night long. They weren't loading a ship, just seemed to be moving logs around. Just something to be aware of, that port operation noise could impact a good night's sleep.
