The location was superb and the view was fabulous.
The worst thing for me was the bed. I have traveled all over Europe and have stayed in at least a hundred of hotels. I have never experienced such discomfort. Quite the opposite. All the hotels I stayed in before had beds from decent to great. It is two teenage style single beds hard as a wooden board with some thin additional mattress cover over them which kept sliding down all the time. I found myself waking up in the middle of the night feeling back pain. Also, the chain has this no-frills self-service vibe which might be a bit shocking for a first-time guest, and instructions should be provided upon arrival- for example, that you have to take your breakfast tray off the table once you are done.
