Wouldn’t stay here again!

Central location

Very dated furniture. Couldn’t empty the sink. No toilet brush. Poor full English breakfast (one small button mushroom, no toast)

Loved it!

Loads of character, super cozy, authentic Stafford. Friendly reception. Great food.

Toilet didn’t flush very well. Bath gels empty. Coffee sachets didn’t get topped up.

Amazing amazing amazing

Absolutely loved our stay here we had never been to stafford before we travelled here from ipswich for a car show everyone was so friendly great atmosphere totally loved it food and service was also first class we will definitely come back again we were sad we weren’t able to stay longer

A good value for money one night stop-over

A handy one night stop-over if visiting The World of Wedgewood. The hotel is near the town centre and there is a small car park. A good full English was cooked to order and a Continental breakfast is offered. However, if you want an evening meal the town better options.

The bathroom fittings are in need of re-grouting with a mastic gun and the gap between the glazing panels was dirty. There was noise from the road and the extractor fans.

Fabulous!

The staff at the Vine are exceptional. Nothing was too much from arrival to departure,, even went out for fresh vegan ingredients for breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay.

It needs investment but the team make up for the tired interior.

Superb

Perfect town centre location for a night out, especially if you have theatre tickets for the gatehouse. With my mobility issues we had room 1 which is level access off the old coach yard and it was exceptionally spacious, clean and comfortable. Cannot praise enough the welcoming and friendly staff!!

My stay was ok but wouldn’t return.

Good location if you want stay in the town, nice evening meal and good value.

I understand that this is an extremely old inn but the noisy floor boards do keep you awake. With breakfast one price should mean you get orange juice and coffee but this was extra also no toast .

Lovley staff! Room was very clean and bed and shower were to die for! Going miss the bed! Easy check in. Really good location! 100 percent would stay again

Really comfortable stay, excellent value for money with great parking and town centre location

Our stay was excellent value for money. I booked early and was so glad I did as the train strikes would have made it difficult to get home otherwise and no doubt pushed up the prices of accommodation in the area. The town centre location is brilliant and the beds (as always) were really comfortable, meaning I had a great nights sleep. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again

The room was a little on the small side compared to a twin room I’ve stayed in here before and there was no bath (which disappointed my friend more than me). Otherwise everything was excellent

Highly recommend

Really enjoyed my stay at the Vine. Centrally located so really easy to get to all of Stafford's shops and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and breakfast was served 8am until 11am and was great value. If popping to Stafford for a visit I thoroughly recommend staying here. Excellent value for money and relaxed, homely atmosphere.

It's an old building so narrow stairs and corridors, creaky floorboards and a few areas could be updated slightly. But that's if I'm nitpicking. Really great place to stay overall.

Ideal central location. Room and bed were clean and comfortable and staff were pleasant.

Carpark could be very cramped when nearly full. Bathroom and especially shower could do with updating.

The staff were so friendly. Easy to check in. Easy to find my room and facilities. Food was good value, and pleasant. The bed was comfy and the bedding was nice. Was a budget stay, and it suited my needs.

The room was really dated. Windows were very old and one wouldn’t even close , and as I was staying alone on the ground floor, that made it hard for me to sleep , as anyone could of got in. The carpets need replacing , and the bathroom was also in need of a revamp. The tv had sound over programmed in so was distracting? But it did work.

Typical English hotel/pub, near the center of Stafford. Not too expensive for current prices in England. Personnel quite friendly.

Better organization of personnel recommended.
