A super cozy small hotel in the heart of Inverness. The staff are very pleasent and extremely polite: I made a mistake with my booking, but the staff offered a solution that saved my day. The room is small and cozy, but have everything you need.
The water heater needs an instruction manual) if it weren't for the help of ChatGPT, I'm not sure l would have been able to figure it out on my own 😉

Nice, quiet, in an old but renovated building (a major plus). The staff was wonderful.
It's a bit far from the city center but more than manageable.

We booked this one only 2 days prior to our reaching in Inverness. There are 2 houses in the same compound. We stayed in the newer one called Alban. The check in was at another place just 300 meters away. It was mentioned well in advance and the way to that was provided as well.
After 4 nights at hostels in Edinburgh, we really loved the privacy and the cute little room. There was no food in the Alban house, but with cafes and a Tesco just walking distance away, that wasn't a problem.
Guess what there's a bus stop right at the gate of the houses. We weren't driving but there's parking incase you came with a car.
I would really recommend this if you are looking for a quiet and cozy stay.
We liked it very much.

Location was in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to the town center. A really great bakery and coffee shop are nearby as well. Staff was super friendly. Good recommendations at the entrance.
The mattress was quite worn out. It was a double bed and we both felt like falling off our sides. Made it hard to get a good nights rest.
Another inconvenience that in my opinion is easy to fix: the towels were placed on a wooden rack that looked moldy on top. See attached picture.
