Looking for a Good experience? - look elsewhere!!

Location to the purpose of our visit

No reception. The technology for checking in was confusing and method of interaction changed from email to SMS without advice. Checking in didn't work well. We apparently had two confirmation numbers but hotel was not clear about which was to be used. I rang the contact number but got a machine sating they were very busy and would call me back - with no idea of when that might occur and no surety that they knew who I was. Appallingly there were a number of others trying to check in who had similar trouble. I the end bar staff helped us to get in. The hotel is a 1960s hotel that, in the residential parts, is very similar to what I experienced in the 1970s. Room was small. No information about facilities etc If you want to charge business hotel prices then have a business hotel approach. The "feel" was one of minimising service and services and thereby saving money!! Not good. Won't be back

Okay, but there are but.

Clean.

Noise. The room given to us has a door inside thats connected to the other room. I can clearly hear people talk and cough from the other side. I specifically asks for a quiet room. There’s no way to heat up food.

Great value for money

Lots of space, power plugs and surfaces in the room. The staff off site are very helpful. The location is next to the supermarket and cafes.

Pillows are very high, it gave me neck pain. The parking garage looks dirty with rubbish and gas tanks.

Amazing stay, comfy beds

The hotel is located near the shops and service station (Coles Shell). The bed is comfy and the room is clean. Loved the restaurant/ pub downstairs. Good value for money. Would stay here again next time we visit Canberra.

Relaxing and very comfortable!

The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable with the bathroom terrific. And across the road was the church where a good mate Fr John is the priest- so very easy to stroll across the road for Sunday Mass !!

great one night stay, worth the money had a great

liked the cleanliness, also really liked the code key to the room. meant we didn’t have to carry around a key or a card and have to give anything back

little bit further out of the city but that’s a pretty minor issue

Generally everything was fine. Suited our purpose.

Paid on booking.com then had to pay a deposit before they would issue a digital room key. Still not refunded. Not sure why I had to pay twice.

The main bed was very comfortable. The shower had good pressure and the shower gels, shampoo conditioner and had soap were beautiful. The towels were lovely fresh white and fluffy.

The extra bed didn’t have a enough warm blankets, it was a cold night.

Short and okay thank you

I expected a microwave, hotel was great , but being on my own I could have eaten in. Breakfast was late so I didn’t have any. Lunch at the hotel was great, staff were friendly. I was tired when I arrived really late and couldn’t get into room. I finally got into my room after about 30 minutes, when I realised I had to press an arrow to open door. I found it strange no staff on site. Price was good, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Easier access to door, staff told me they are always having problems. You know I am sick of surveys, if you buy something in a shop, they want you to do a survey.

toilet was not cleaned when I arrived. Air-condition was very dirty and limited air flow.

Room and accommodation was fine

Rooms decent enough. The site facilities looked okay although none open

It was a ghost town. Not a single person onsite or a single thing open which was not communicated when making the booking. We could not even work out how to get inside the building as everything was closed and no signage etc. Fridge in room did not work properly. Outside of building made it look like it was going to be old run down and dated inside however the inside has a completely different look and feel to outside.
