The private villa feeling surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were so friendly and accommodating! And provided such a beautiful breakfast each morning. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Really lovely and perfectly located.

It was very close to the bus and train station and close to the old town and swimming. Perfectly located. Benedicto our host was very helpful and friendly.

The wifi signal was a little weak at times.

Exceptional

Really great place!! Very easy & quick walk right into Otranto. We were there during the off-season where we may have been the only guests so it was very quiet which we liked. I think it is likely quiet even when there are more guests simply by the way the property is organized. The breakfast they offer is amazing!

A fresh room to relax and vacation in

A very generous breakfast and lovely people who go out of their way to help. The scent of vanilla in the room is so welcoming!

The reception provided names of recommended restaurants, but we couldn’t locate it on Google maps.

thank you for having us! we loved Otranto and Tenuta Belvedere and would happily stay again

beautiful grounds, lush gardens, very private, short walking distance to beach and restaurants

no a/c unfortunately. can be a problem in Italy summer. we managed to get by with pedestal fan but only just. also, linen/towel charge excluded from price and payable separate on top on arrival. recommend to roll it in to the nightly rate. not really sure what the charge was for as we didn’t receive linen change during the stay.

Excellent stay in the middle of nature

+ Peaceful and quite location, surrounded by green plants and olive trees + The "Tenuta" is close to the city center and to the beach of Otranto, just 7 minutes on foot + Very friendly staff, fast and efficient check-in + Excellent and big breakfast, which was surprisingly included in our reservation

- Really a small thing, but the bed pillows were not so comfortable.

Truly stunning in every way

First and foremost I have to say that Benedetto, Maurizio and the entire staff were simply amazing. When we arrived we were welcomed with a great bottle of Rosato and received hand-written indications for Restaurants in the city (which Benedetto also took time time to explain to us in detail). You arrive in this lush pine forest which is just 5 minutes on foot away from the city centre of Ontranto. The whole Tenuta is really big with gorgeous gardens and various seating possibilities to enjoy your apéro after a day at the beach. Since the Tenuta is so big you really always have a sense of privacy as it will never get crowded with guests. But at the same time the staff will aleays be there if you need anything. Also: our room was always squeaky clean, the cleaning lady did a fantastic job! We had an amazing time there and will certainly go back, 10/10!

That we couldn't stay any longer there! :-)

Great stay

For our first holiday with a 3 month old, it was absolutely perfect. Everything we needed from the apartment and the location was great, quiet with plenty of space to relax with everything on our doorstep. The staff were more than helpful too, thanks for a great stay.

We travelled in Oct so to be expected, but the apartment was a little cold at night. An extra blanket would have been nice but we managed without.

Relaxing in Otranto

We really liked the setting and the convenient location - it was near the sea, an easy walk to town, a very convenient supermarket and the setting of the apartments was lovely with many beautiful Mediterranean plants and shady trees. Good outdoor space for our apartment and some cute cats that came to say hello but didn’t bother us. Benedetto was very helpful with travel arrangements and booking taxis. Public transport was not as normal due to Covid.

Our kitchen was tiny and would have been difficult to cook in but we only made coffee and simple breakfasts so it was not a problem.
