Stay away!

The location and view.

Simply put, the photos on Booking are from when the apartment was new, now the condition is miserable. The door handles are bent, there is no hot water for showering. The beds in the bedrooms are listed as double beds, but in reality they are beds for one person to sleep, not two. There is no one to clean, luckily there was a broom so we cleaned ourselves. Bed linen and towels were not changed for 7 days. There are cockroaches that walk around at night around the size of 5cm. The furniture and furnishings are dilapidated and old. The scariest part is that there are 3 chimneys from the kitchen grill. There is a restaurant under the apartment, the chimneys are used all day until around midnight, the smoke from the barbecue that they emit enters the bedrooms, we had to sleep in a draft to have fresh and clean air, the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning is huge and I think that this apartment is completely unsafe. p.s. The apartment is rented out by a car rental agency and insists on paying in advance, when we asked why and if everything was fine, they convinced us that everything was great and that it was just their work policy. They didn't want to give us the money back after we saw the condition of the place. If we had known that the place was such a ruin, we would not have pay and sat there, we would have left immediately.

Overall, this could be an amazing apartment but it has not been done well and is WAY overpriced. Very disappointed.

Good location, space inside the apartment, beds were comfortable and aircon was good. Good fridge/freezer, new microwave, manager kindly gave us some detergent and dishwasher tabs to use.

No hot water until around midday each day, shower head didn’t fit into the holder when we arrived (this did get fixed), washing machine not working until half way through our four night stay, live electric wires hanging from the ceiling, nails sticking dangerously out of wooden panel in the lounge, pipes sticking up through the floor boards, rickety patio furniture (which we were amusingly told was bought specifically to be like that), ants coming into the kitchen from somewhere, and no normal eating knives (only preparation/chopping knives). Overall attitude of manager progressed from being initially helpful, to rude, accusatory and confrontational - as if the issues with the apartment were our fault.

It was fine for one night

Air conditioning units of the adjoining appartment are extremely noisy and make the floors vibrate. With them running the whole appartment feels like it is going to take off.

We were 5 persons so we stayed on the first floor with two bedrooms kitchen living room with windows only for an amazing full sea lake view...rooms are big and very nicely decorated wooden floor and top....air conditioning available but if you open two of the windows is all you need....spacious living room with modern touches of decoration makes you feel comfortable as home...the free parking for our car was at 50 meters of the house we had stayed two nights in Kaposantes Apartments the five of us and sincerely we had the best accomodation ever....thank you very much dearest Christos and Rafaela

We did not get what we paid for

No breakfast!

The ad did not match what we got. Photos were deceiving. I booked wit a balcony with a sea view.I got a balcony looking out at a junky back building. No hot water!!!! The whole time we were there Washing machine didn’t work Host told us to google information on Lefkada instead of providing local knowledge Told us that we should have booked through them directly for a better price This was NOT a deluxe suite

Horror in Lefkada Town!

The only good thing about this property is the roof over our heads and air conditioning.

The apartment was a big disappointment! One bedroom was not suitable for sleeping due to chimney, walls and furniture vibrations and smells from the kitchen below the apartment. The mattress had to be transported to the living room. It was not very comfortable for all family to sleep like this - on the floor. Live music concerts were held every day in the place located under the apartment (tavern) until 2 - 3 in the morning. Rest and sleep were excluded! We asked the staff for help in transferring from the airport - unfortunately they forgot about us and we had to organize ourselves at the airport. In addition, they wanted 50 euros for a trip from the airport, while a regular taxi ride is only 30 euros. It is a pity that they want to trick tourists this way. I do not recommend it - unless it is for young people who are resistant to bad conditions and return to their place of stay in the morning.

The place is above a restaurant. While open the kitchen extractor is loud. Sounds like you are on a ferry. Plus the music is playing until 1am.

Magnificent view

Magnificent panoramic view. Great location, everything is on walking distance. Many tavernas nearby. Huge living room and 2 terraces - the smaller is with side street view, the big one is the bedroom terrace and has a view to the backyard and the mountain. The kitchen has enough equipment. The Internet was ok, we didn't face any significant interruptions. At the end this is an island and the outages are not uncommon. We've got the key for the apartment from an easy to find agency nearby. The guys from the agency were helpful.

Keep in mind it's located on a busy street with traffic and taverns around. Even though there is good level of sound proof, obviously it could not be dead silent inside. The bedrooms are heading the backyard. We were aware of that, we were fine with that and we really enjoyed our stay there. It is not a negative comment: I'm leaving this note for people who are looking for complete peace and serenity.
