Room furniture was artistic and the room itself, even if it doesn’t have air conditioning, stays cool day and night, even with 30+°C outside. The room had a fan to use in case it became too hot. A bit humid for my taste but nothing too bad.
Of the two windows that the room had, one (in the bathroom) looked directly into the small internal patio where other guests might stroll, and the other (right next to the bed) looked directly onto the street where people walked by day and night. There was a window blind consisting of lists in order for air to come in and an internal wooden blind, so you had to choose if you wanted to circulate air or not risk people seeing you in your room.
Because the room was cool we could keep the blinds closed and use the artificial light, and of course all the other rooms on the higher floor(s) wouldn’t have this problem.

This is a very beautiful, quiet historic former family home/mansion circa 1711 that was absolutely perfect. The room was huge with high ceilings, gorgeous antique furnishings, an extremely comfortable four poster bed, 2 Juliette balconies and exquisite paintings and tapestries. Café across the road is a bonus!

The location was excellent, just a very short walk to many restaurants and the Alhambra . Filled with interesting decor, it was cozy and quiet, despite being so close to lots of people and activity. Owners have a breakfast shop just a few doors down.
Our train was delayed so our arrival was also late from our last communication, so initial check in was a bit confusing.
