The staff, location and the view
Although the beach is really close in terms of distance, the road towards it isn’t that easy, with plenty of inclines, and it’s a wild beach

What a little gem of a hotel! When we first arrived we were greeted by the manager of the hotel, Mr Hussein and the entire process was smooth and seamless. The apartment had an unobstructed view of the sea and I watched the most glorious sunsets from the sofa with the sky turning from gold to salmon to an inky purple. The service was exceptional - we recieved a welcome coffee and a sweet treat but what we did not expect was that this was a daily feature - a refreshing lemonade with generous bowl of super sweet melon or coffee and cake. It made is feel like beloved guests at someone's home. A special bonus was the fantastic music - we could always hear jazz softly playing in the background somewhere in the building, a little Coltrane, sometimes Chet Baker, probably all down to the amazing Mr Hussein I think!
The room was well appointed and had everything you could possibly need and if you didnt have something, they would find it for you. Our room did not have a washing machine but we had our items laundered and returned overnight! The restaurant recommendations were a lovely touch - we went back to Tokman Hassan 2 nights in a row because we loved the food. After having been hit with tourist pricing at restaurants on our entire holiday, having these recommemdations made it feel like we had a local friend with us, telling us what to eat.
The hotel is built on an incline (which explains the unobstructed beautiful views!) It was perfectly fine for us (actually quite helpful after the massive dinners at Tokman Hassan!) But be aware that you may need to drive into the town if your fitness isn't what it should be. I went walking every morning and loved it.
Absolutely nothing, it was the most perfect part of our holiday.

I had a wonderful stay at Şato Design Hotel. The hospitality was exceptional and the host was genuinely one of the best I have ever had. He was always available, very kind and helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay.
The accommodation was very clean, beautifully designed and located in a peaceful and relaxing setting with lovely views. I especially enjoyed having the sea so close to the property. The water can feel a little cool at first, but it is clean and wonderfully refreshing, especially on hot summer days.
It is a beautiful place to slow down, relax and enjoy some peace away from the crowds. I also think it is an especially lovely choice for couples looking for a quiet and romantic stay by the sea.
I felt very comfortable here and truly enjoyed my stay.
Honestly, there was nothing significant that I disliked. The sea can be slightly cool, but I would not really consider this a negative on hot summer days it is actually very refreshing.

It was easy to find and park. The rooms were uniquely styled, comfortable and clean.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The beach is close with private sun beds and cafe nearby for drinks and snacks.
Honestly nothing!
