Beautiful location. Resort sits atop a cliff overlooking the ocean. Staff are great. Always ready to help Rooms are small but clean to the highest standard Facilities are amazing. Pickleball, tennis, mini golf, tabletennis, pool tables, kayaking, nursery for kids. They even have horse riding and motorised watersports for an additional fee. Although watersports can be done only during the high tide, which is a few hours in the morning and a few hours before sunset. Had to leave the resort at 230am to catch the 530am flight, they were kind enough to pack breakfast for us. We loved the peace and quiet here, compared to the popular tourist destinations like nungwi

Crows in the dining area are a menace. We bought the all inclusive package, but was a bit disappointed with it because its not actually "all inclusive" as they advertise on booking.com. only a limited range of drinks are included in this package. The "premium drinks" as they called it are not included. Same goes with the food. Firstly we expected a buffet for all meals. But this wasn't the case for lunch. We were given the a la carte menu and asked to select a main course. Even on the a la carte menu The "premium" dishes such as the prawns, lobster and beef steak were not included in the "all inclusive" package. Overall we felt a bit cheated with this all inclusive deal that they advertise when clearly its not.

The room was nice and well taken care of. We liked the turn down and mosquito spraying every evening. Ms. Mwana and Ms. Sakina at the kids club were amazing. Our girls loved them and we all cried when we had to leave. John also did a great job with our Swahili lesson and our spice tour. We were unable to complete other planned activities due to an error with the front desk.

My family stayed from July 4 through July 7. As our stay progressed, we became increasingly frustrated with how guests who were not part of a wedding party were treated. It often felt as though the needs of other paying guests were secondary to those of the wedding group. One of our biggest concerns was the dining experience. There was very little variety offered at breakfast and dinner, making it difficult to find suitable meals for our 1 and 5 year-old children. We were also surprised by the lack of Tanzanian cuisine, particularly at a resort located in Zanzibar. In addition, there were multiple occasions when we were unable to sit in the, empty, dining room because it had been reserved for the wedding party at a later time. On one occasion, we were required to sit outside near a live band with our 1 & 5 year old, which was far from an ideal dining environment. On another occasion, we were told we could not use the mostly empty dining room because it was reserved for the wedding party, yet there were 3 guests already seated there. When we asked for an explanation we were told they were members of the wedding party whose baby was hungry, even though the rest of the wedding party was at another event We also experienced significant issues regarding our request to extend our stay. Front desk staff told us at check in that our request had been processed, and later assured us it would be fine despite it not appearing in the system. On checkout morning, we were told there was no record of the request, no rooms were available, and we had only an hour to vacate. This caused unnecessary stress and expense, and significantly disrupted the end of our vacation. I emailed the property on 7/20 to express my concerns and have received no response.
