Riverside is an overstatement and used to overprice the property

it was a quaint little property, nice bathroom and locked entrance in hallway

the advert wasn’t clear if there was free WiFi. on arrival I contacted the property asking where it was. they replied almost instantly with what I would describe as a defensive response ultimately stating it was in the advert when I booked it therefor basically is was my problem as not all apartment offer free WiFi. I searched through the advert which I still had trouble finding this but only when you select policy (the last link) it does state it in there. I did reply explaining that it clearly stated in my booking that I had a 7 year old which in this day in age would be highly likely that i would need WiFi and that after some time looking at the advert finally came across the section stating there is no WiFi and that it wasn’t very clear at the booking stage. The property never responded after this. i then put a complaint to Booking.com which they are taking it up with the property. there were other complaints that I highlighted in regards to a stench in the property that was being masked by all the window ajar in the property on arrival. although I could put up with it my 7 year old kept complaining about it. there was a wet bed set “airing” on a clothes horse in the bedroom cupboard and the ice compartment was frozen over leaving no space for storage. overall I would not recommend this property at this price. It seems like they are using the river view as a sale point but there are much better accommodations for same price and comes with WiFi in the area.

A great little apartment in a fantastic area

This property was exactly what we needed, especially as we didn't have a lot of time to find somewhere to stay before the date. It was close to town which has all the shops you require but also in a quiet location with a park just across the road which was an added bonus.

Not something i didn't like per se but a small recommendation - it would be great if the curtains in the living room where darker or black out as we did end up using the sofa bed and it didn't get very dark. The only other thing (and this could just be me) is i didn't realise that the hot water needed to be turned on near the boiler so a little note (like with the oven) would have been really helpful and would have saved me calling my mum for help haha

fine for what we needed but would definitely not recommended for someone in a holiday ok for maybe backpackers etc

Location was fine for where we were needing to go.

the bed was very uncomfortable along with the pillows I had to purchase a new pillow to raise my neck, there was food left in the Fridge from previous customers I.e opens chicken, orange juice etc

This apartment was central. It is clean, well kept and fairly well appointed. It needs a few upgrade

This property is in a central location, the flat is clean and fairly well appointed.

The entrance area is not lite which is not safe in the evening. The area around the back of the building is unkempt and the neighborhood does not feel safe when walking on your own. Also, the lack of Wifi should be stated in the advertisement. This was very inconvenient.

Exceptional

Clean ,refreshed and comfortable apartment in the centre of Elgin .New kitchen .Location is great on the banks of River Lossie and next to an old historic Cathedral. Host very helpful.

We had a brilliant stay at River View apartment.The apartment was very clean ,spotless,refreshed,refurbished and comfortable.The apartment is in a very good quiet central location close to all amenities.

River view apartment exceeded all expectations. The apartment was very clean, spotless ,refreshed ,comfortable and located on the banks of the River Lossie. Furthermore the apartment is well equipped with a modern kitchen . The property had clearly undergone recent refurb.The apartment is in central quiet location and close to facilities. No hesitation in recommending this property.
