The clean comfortable rooms
The service. Staff provided no information on check in. Meals in the restaurant were good however we did order dessert and didn't get it. Staff had very little experience and didn't seem to know what they were doing. Didn't get the mixed berries in the banana split Granola at breakfast the following morning. When we pointed it out to the staff member he said "oh the kitchen staff are tired". Didn't get to sleep until after 3am due to the loud music and party goers. What a shame could be such a great place.

Spacious room and bathroom. Although didn't use it the hotel has bar and dining facilities. Just a few minutes by car to Scrabster ferry terminal.
Room accessed via numerous steps - no lift.

Great location, room was very spacious and clean.
Beds were comfy but a little to ‘soft’ for my liking
I felt the staff member (didn’t get her name) who checked us in could have been more welcoming and informative, for example she should have mentioned to us that when the restaurant has closed we would need to use another door to gain entry to the building.
