Beautifully situated and ideal for a stop on the drive back from Spain to the UK. Lovely accommodation, splendidly renovated and styled for a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed a lovely good value meal with delicious wine in the garden as the sun went down!
Stairs to mezzanine floor were a little steep and slippery. We just took great care!

The property is gorgeous and I can imagine it must be amazing during summer especially! Also it is very nice that parking is included and inside the gates.
We had a good stay overall but I believe true hospitality is in the little things, a pretty place is not enough.
Just a few words of feedback in good faith:
- shower towels were as big as hand towels, not great to dry up especially in winter.
- handsoap and showergel were almost finished. Thankfully we had ours instead
- coffee machine with just 2 capsules. You can give a little more..
- why is it forbidden to eat even snacks indoors in such a remote place? That is the most nonsense and unwelcome rule ever (also you find out when it’s too late to cancel the reservation). Yes they do offer breakfast for 15euros per person, but it’s too much if I only want a coffee and croissant, not a full meal. So yes, I did eat a croissant in the room. Like in every other hotel and bnb in the world.
