Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities, friendly staff and lovely views. Delicious food and good value for money.
We got very bad sleep.... We were in the rooms under the thatched roof which had no sound insulation. We were woken up both mornings of our stay at 5am by incessant calling from a goose perched on the roof for the next 3+ hours. Even with ear plugs and buried heads under pillows, we couldn't sleep. Sadly, this meant we were completely shattered by the end of the trip and while the hotel was very nice, ultimately if you can't sleep it's quite an uncomfortable stay... We did raise this with the staff, but they said they were unable to do anything about it. Others in our group were also woken up by the cockerels.

Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Melissa changed my booking with no trouble and was super helpful. Great breakfast en a beautiful location. Love the farm style setup.
The fridges in both rooms 3 & 5 where I stayed, require a good cleaning. In Room 3, there are spider webs in the shower corner which I would hope housekeeping would have seen and remove. Small detail that was over-looked but will give the place a 5 star experience.

After a few busy days we were delighted with the quiet of this estate! The breakfast and lunch menu was delicious and nutritious. We travelled during low season and were blessed by the quiet and the lovely estate. We spent most of our time either in our room or in the seating area in front of the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and greeted us each morning with a big smile and firm handshake.
