An unforgettable stay in a beautiful villa, with outstanding hospitality!
Luigi is a truly special person: warm, welcoming and always willing to help. The service was impeccable, starting with the private parking, which Luigi took care of for us, saving us the stress of driving and finding a parking spot (driving along the Amalfi Coast is an experience in itself! 😂).
We got around using public transport and a few transfers arranged by Luigi. Everything was perfectly organised. The villa has everything you need for a wonderful stay.
We highly recommend Villa Matilde to anyone looking to enjoy the Amalfi Coast away from the hustle and bustle of the busiest tourist areas, while still being close to everything. Above all, Luigi makes you feel like part of the family!

Everything was just as we’d hoped, if not better! We really couldn't have asked for much more.
Luigi made us feel at home from the minute we arrived, honestly, such a lovely fella! He was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He gave us loads of great recommendations on places to visit, where to eat and how best to get around the Amalfi Coast. We followed nearly all of his advice and he was spot on every time! 😂
We were only there for a short few days and really wanted to see both Positano and Sorrento. Luigi managed to sort out a private transfer for us at the very last minute, so we could visit both places in the one day. And the price was brilliant too, actually cheaper than the other quotes we'd been given! We were delighted with how it all worked out, so I'd definitely recommend trusting his advice when it comes to getting around.
The villa itself is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The views out over the sea are absolutely stunning! We especially loved the covered terrace, as we could still sit outside and enjoy the view even when it was raining, which unfortunately happened while we were there!
All in all, we genuinely couldn't fault a thing. The villa is exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing, so no surprises whatsoever.
And as for Luigi... we'd read so many lovely reviews about him before booking, and now we know why! They certainly weren't exaggerating haha!
Thanks a million for everything, Luigi! You really made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be recommending Villa Matilde Amalfi to our friends back home, and we'd absolutely love to come back someday!

From the very beginning, everything was perfect. Luigi arranged our transfer and everything went exactly as planned. The driver was very professional and knowledgeable, which made the journey completely stress-free.
Once we arrived, Luigi gave us some great tips about the Amalfi Coast and managed to answer all of our MANY questions hahaha! He was always available and genuinely such a lovely person.
We also used the transfers he arranged for us during our stay, and whenever we messaged him, he would reply literally within 5 seconds. We still don’t understand how that was possible hahaha!
In the end, we decided to extend our stay, and we couldn’t be happier that we did. Having a glass of wine at sunset with that incredible sea view was probably the best experience of our trip.
Thank you for everything, Luigi! We’ll definitely be back!

Appartamento pulito, situato in buona posizione appena fuori Amalfi (loc. Tovere) e ben collegato a questa da mezzi pubblici. Vista dalla terrazza privata stupenda.
Percorso esterno per raggiungere l'appartamento potrebbe risultare un po' faticoso soprattutto durante le operazioni di trasporto dei bagagli (problema probabilmente comune alla gran parte delle abitazioni presenti in Costiera legate alla morfologia del territorio)
