Exceptional

Excellent holiday cottage in a beautiful country setting. Very comfortable bedroom and bed. Excellent wifi. Beautifully presented. Communication with host was amazing, thanks to Liz. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We were really disappointed in the standard for the money charged and left after one night.

It's close enough to Aviemore centre. It had a roof. Off street parking. Plenty dishes and utensils in the kitchen. Wish I had more positives but don't - sorry.

Strong smell of dog, kitchen not clean. Tiles very greasy behind cooker. Fridge freezer was not a fridge freezer, it is a cheap fridge with larger ice box that doesn't chill well. Carpets in bedrooms not fresh. Shower has very poor pressure. Mould behind the tap end. Bedrooms very small, no desks or tvs in bedrooms. No books, dvds, games, jigsaws, pens, paper. I had read previous positive reviews when booking, but that didn't seem like the same house.

Superb

Loved the location and the view from the rear of the property to the Cairngorms. Back garden is a suntrap from first thing until 6pm. It has bench seats, table and bbq. Bungalow had everything we required including a washing machine and dishwasher. Very well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. Property is within easy walking distance of the town.

Nice peaceful bungalow in a quiet spot

The team were very helpful and friendly, especially when i called to say I'd be arriving late. The place was lovely and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a few basics to get us started (coffee, tea, milk). Nice touch with the shortbread too. Nice relaxing outdoor area. Properly dog friendly, with treats, blankets and poop bags ... nice and welcoming.

Nothing major, just niggles: The location was odd, and it took a few attempts to find a decent walking route in and out of Aviemore itself. Even Google maps got confused. I wasn't expecting a bungalow in the middle of a housing estate. That said, the area was very peaceful. The blinds in the bedroom were inadequate and let in the light from the street lamp in lane behind the garden. Only an issue for light sleepers. Furniture wasn't that sturdy ( tv cabinet had been broken previously and bedroom wardrobe doors not built properly so fell off whenever opened). Not an issue once we knew what to expect. Bed and pillows very soft. All minor points but worth noting. We would happily still book this place again.

We had a very enjoyable weekend away in aviemore, and the property was an ideal base.

House was very clean with good facilities, in a good location. I thought it was good value for money.

I didnt have any real issues with the property. If I was being extremely picky I would say that one of the single mattresses wasn't the comfiest (could feel the springs), and it would have been useful if basic condiments like salt and pepper were provided. Nothing major.

We had a perfect holiday and the accommodation offers everything you need for a lovely holiday.

The house was very comfortable and beautiful decorated. We felt home from the first moment and so enjoyed our stay there.

There is absolute nothing we didn’t like.

Cosy little cottage for a great 3 day/2 night break in Aviemore.

Nice, well presented 2 bedroom cottage myself, wife and our two daughters stayed in for 2 nights. Everything we needed was available. Enjoyed our stay and will consider returning for a future visit.

Nice two bed bungalow with its own parking space in a quiet residential area. Clean rooms. Comfortable property with a nice garden. The staff at the Silverglades reception office were friendly and helpful.

a little disappointing

nicely decorated, very clean, super comfy bed, good location

while booking it is impossible to know - looking at the pictures on the offer - which accommodation exactly I am booking. I booked under this advert only as was told, after enquiry, that the rear garden is fenced as I specifically said will be coming with the dog so need a place for him to run free. it was a huge disappointment when arrived and seen that the rear garden is nothing more but 6 m2 of concrete - definitely no place to let the dog out to run or even walk. if I would know this I would’ve never spent this money for this accommodation as there were hotel rooms dog friendly in the area closer to the city centre available too and for half the price.

Well equipped, very comfortable. Only there for weekend but for longer stay it would have been great.

No complaints - only difficulty for me being a short person, couldn’t reach the top shelves! Fortunately I had a tall son with me.

A nice house in a quiet location

The house is small but has everything and is quite comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and they provide cloths, washing up liquid and a small amount of dishwasher and washing machine tablets. There was also some tea and coffee. The WiFi was excellent.

Cleaning was not very thorough, for example the oven was very dirty, there was a dog's chewy bone under the television table and the dishwasher was clean but hadn't been emptied. There was no coffee table which doesn't sound important but it made it uncomfortable to have a cup of tea in front of the televsion as we couldn't put down our cups!

Wonderful property and location. Aviemore is amazing!

The property was beautifully decorated with all the facilities you would ever need. Even BBQ skewers and laundry detergent. The beds were super comfy and the en suite was a luxury. The accommodation is a short walk from the local high street where you have access to all all shops and restaurants.

The fence in the back garden doesn't provide much privacy but there's so much to do in Aviemore that we didn't spend too much time outside anyway!
