The property itself is located in a good area, but it needs a lot of updating, including amenities, and outdoor is not m

It was close to the UPMC Hamot Hospital where my Mom was staying. Close to the Bayfront Walk, and restaurants. Cheaper than most major hotels in the area. Easy to communicate with host, easy check-in and check-out.

The apartment is located in a residential area with many other duplexes around it on a slightly busy street. The school is right around the corner so there is a lot of traffic in the morning and afternoon. The unit is located on the lower level and if there is someone staying upstairs you can hear every footstep and conversation that is going on. Especially when they are going up and down the stairs to enter or exit the apartment. Creaky floors, older home, synthetic sheets, no activities for kids-there was a cabinet with incomplete cardboard games with missing pieces. in the description of the property, it was mentioned that there were breakfast items for us. Breakfast items consisted of two eggs, two cans of cherry Coke, 3 frozen prepackaged mini-waffles, unsealed opened bag of ground coffee half full, and one small individual milk, 8 ounces. I don’t know if these are the breakfast items that were specifically left for us or if they were left over from previous visitors. The porch is located in the front of the house, but there are also two large security cameras right behind you. Not very relaxing. The laundry is located down in the basement, very low ceilings and scary. Narrow stairway leading down into a very cave like area. The washer is located on one side of the room while the dryer is on the other side. It looks like all of the cleaning supplies are down there. When we went to do laundry, there was already something in the washing machine, but nobody else was staying above us at the time.

Parking is a little downside if there is more then 3 cars. We had two vehicles and the neighboring apartment had two. Making it slightly difficult to park.
