Exceptional

It was pleasure to be there as a honeymoon couple. Kano and all staff were kind and super helpful. Kalapa itself a bit far from Canggu center but if you have any app to order bike or taxi it takes roughly 10 min.

Calm and beautiful place but a bit far from the action

Beautiful little hotel in Canggu. Very quiet and enjoyable place, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and quite spacious.

Compares to the other places we stayed at in Bali, this resort was really infected with mosquitoes. Impossible to go in the pool or to the restaurant without being bitten or bothered by the little buggers (even with repellent). Checking out ended up being a bit complicated because the items listed on our final bill did not reflect what we ordered (food items had different names from the restaurant menu, or switched with another item) and it made it nearly impossible to be sure that we paid exactly from what we owed. They also charged us because we broke a wine glass in the room, which, ok, we broke it, but it’s not very classy or what we expected from a hotel of this standing.

Romantic and stylish

The property was absolutely stunning! Really comfortable and stylish villa with awesome details. Also breakfasts every day are gorgeous. Best hotel breakfasts I have ever had

Pleasant

The outdoors, staff were always smiling. Villa swimming pool is nice and compact.

Rooms much smaller than the showcased images, very noisy due to thin wooden walls and doors. Bathtub just looks dirty and room is too small and cluttered.

Mindful, Tranquil and peaceful

Thé staff make this place! They are amazing !! It’s a gorgeous tranquil retreat with a 40 min walk to Canggu shops and restaurants.

Lovely relaxing stay

The resort is beautiful with so many well kept trees and the pools are pristine. The staff were friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed our stay

The outdoor bathroom and pool sounds great but in reality there were lots of mosquitoes which can’t be helped in the climate but if we were to stay again I would get a room without a pool.

Amazing structure, the hotel is beautiful and looks like you are in the jungle! The food in the restaurant is one of the best I had in Bali and the swimming pools are incredible

A place of calm in Canggu

Although is not near downtown we love the area because it was more quiet. There are 3 yoga classes available everyday, and also 2 pools. The staff was really nice.

We had to wait such a long time for the breakfast both of the days. I understand is homemade but it will be useful to have one more person working with the restaurant team. At least to have the coffee and juice while we wait for the main plates. The room was nice although the door that connected to the bathroom outside wouldn’t keep close (mostly due to wind), so mosquitos came to the room. Would recommend to put some mechanism to fix this. Also it’ll be really nice if there rooms were supplied with mosquito repellent plugs. And finally, it will be really nice to have more hangers or a place to hang the wet clothes or towels outside.

Acceptable for the price paid

Traditional Balinese concept hotel. Secluded part of Canggu which was quite a change after staying where the hustle and bustle is in Canggu. The property was also super quiet.

Some light fixtures were not working. Shower head could use a change.

Nicely isolated, tropical experience - not far from the main streets of Changgu

Nicely isolated, private hotel not far from the main street of Changgu (10 mins on a scooter). The ambiance is wonderful; very chill, relaxed - but not overly luxurious. The restaurant is quite good, with very convenient opening hours. There are free yoga classes offered 3x per day, very basic but the yoga room is quite cool. The room was much better quality than I thought it would be.

There wasn't much that I didn't like, it was totally lived up to the descriptions. Reception is a bit under whelming, needs a bit of improvement, but it's functional.

Very average and slightly upleasant stay.

The road access was extremely bumpy and hard for drivers to get in. The main issue we had with this place was the fac that is locat near a river and it has some swamps of water where FROGS are making an unbearable noise over night and we could not rest at all for a few nights when it was raining. There was a leak in the bathroom of the property. Everytime after we had the room cleaned we had to ask for toilet paper… it was not provided even if they saw is finished. The WI-FI was not usable at all , called a few times and nothing was done about it. There is no reception as well so … for people who need some internet might be a bumper.

Exceptional

The villa with private pool was absolutely gorgeous with lush forest view and absolute privacy. Staff at the resort were kind and attentive and breakfast was good too. We really enjoyed our stay!

The massages at the resort are a bit overpriced and the massage room seems less luxurious than the rest of the resort. But the massage therapists were skilled and we felt very relaxed after our treatment :)

we checked out on the same day as arrival since it was too far away from something we would waste our holiday on. we men

the location; it was too far away from the city than we imagined based on the descriptions. the room: there was mould on the curtains, the fridge and a few other places around the room (see pictures) the second pool in the back of the hotel looked like it had dirty water as we could not see the bottom of the pool as we could with the first/main pool - see the picture

Loud music from neighbours didn't make it a peaceful stay

Comfy bed.

They are next to Ubuntu, who were playing loud music for hours! Even inside the room it was obnoxiously loud. I told the staff about it, but they didn't do anything about it. The bath tub is not practical at all, there were leaves hanging inside of it, so no space to sit in the bath tub and it was pretty dirty. The yoga mats they provide are not good and slippery, so I recommend you bring your own if you can.

Little oasis

Facilities are great! Staff are friendly and professional. The location is close enough to central Canggu yet good distance away from the hectic tourists areas. A little oasis, beautifully situated and maintained.

Did not meet expectations. We were shown something completely different on booking.com.

The kitchen staff was really nice and breakfast was good too. Good menu to select from.

The room we got vs the room we saw on booking.com was shocking. The advertised room has a massive window and was bigger. We got a tiny room with no day light. It was actually so dull and depressing inside it. There were cracks between the bedroom and open air toilet so the AC was not able to cool the room. The location is also a bit far from the beach so you can’t walk. You will either have to use their bikes or overpriced taxis.

Great location in nature, but not worth it.

The outside area, pool ect. was great. Location in nature.

The rooms are fairly small. Looked way bigger in the pictures. No room for storage. Breakfast is too simple. When ordering a ''healty omelet'', we just got a small omelet with additional white toast, baked beans, and some cold chicken meat. Only basic ''Balinese Coffe'', and no espresso, americano or cappuccino options. That you can do better. We ate breakfast in town the rest of the days.
