In six trips through Spain, we've stayed in perhaps thirty different lodgings. Casa Gerbe was one of just two that were really great. In both cases, the host made the difference. Miguel could not have been more engaging or helpful with suggestions and information. His breakfasts were terrific and the two dinners he cooked for us were a delightful and delicious experience. The little village is charming and peaceful, and the view from the front patio across the fields to the mountains is sublime. Everything about the facility is first-rate: room, beds, shower, wi-fi. The area is full of fascinating spots and breathtaking vistas; we hope to explore it more, using Casa Gerbe as a base.
I wouldn't change a thing.

De rust en het ligt dichtbij het stadje Ainsa. We kregen elke dag een lekker ontbijtje en gevarieerd. Miquel heeft ons uitleg gegeven over de wandelroutes in de omgeving.

Casa muy acogedora y tranquila, ideal para visitar la zona, a cinco minutos de Aínsa y con fácil acceso en coche a todas las rutas de Ordesa, Pineta, Benasque, etc. En el alojamiento está todo cuidado al detalle, y buscando el respeto por la naturaleza. La atención de Miguel Ángel ha sido inmejorable en todos los aspectos, tanto por si necesitábamos algo en la casa como en todas las recomendaciones de rutas y sitios que visitar por allí. Bonus si además os interesa la observación de aves, también nos indicó muy buenas zonas para ver varias especies, y pudimos acudir al hide que ha organizado en el pueblo. Ofrece desayunos y cenas preparados por él con productos locales y del huerto, riquísimo todo lo que probamos; también hay nevera y microondas para llevar tu propia comida, y hasta te pueden preparar algo para llevar si vas a hacer rutas. Sin duda repetiremos cuando volvamos a la zona.

Lovely quiet location far away from anything
- the bed was very uncomfortable. It took my wife 2 full days to recover from back pain.
- the wifi did not work most of the time. When it did, the signal was very weak everywhere in the house.
