Superb

The location was fantastic. The host Frederick and staff were very helpful and polite. The bungalow was clean and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

Best

This place was great. It was The most comfortable and The cleanest place we visited in Mauritius. There is a giant turtle in garden which was awesome and The sea outside is The best for snorkeling. We saw more sea life there then on a snorkeling trip. Will definatelly return. Thank you again also for late checkout which helped me a lot with children. Please make better pictures online, this place is so much nicer in reality. Its walking distance from Bamboo restaurant - one of The best meals we had in Mauritius. Try also The pizza.

A lovely apartment in a great location; highly recommended.

Villa du Lagon was the perfect start to our holiday in wonderful Mauritius. The location is excellent: 10 minutes' walk to Blue Bay, two minutes from a superb bakery and on a good bus route to BB and Mahebourg. We knew there would be no sea view, and loved our private garden and verandah and the wildlife and pets, including 2 giant tortoises. The kitchen is well equipped so we could cook in and eat when we wished. A great asset is having access to a beautiful little beach at the bottom of the garden which was good for swimming and quiet. From there we could walk north to Pointe D'Esny or south to Blue Bay. Host Frederick was chilled and very welcoming and helpful, as were the staff including Marie France. All in all, highly recommended.

Great location on lovely beach.

Great location, right on a beautiful beach with good snorkelling. Restaurants/cafes in easy walking distance. Very friendly and helpful host. Great value.

Delightful apartment with lovely resident tortoise, cats and rabbits!!

Frederic was so helpful. The apartment was lovely and well equipped. Amazing to be able to walk out straight onto a quiet beach.

Fantastic location. Excellent Views. Direct access to the beach. Electric roller shutter is brilliant for privacy and security and allows ventilation at the same time

Difficult to watch TV as lounge furniture not set up for this.

Superb

The villa is directly at the beach, where you can snorkel. Our appartment with garden view was perfect, very quiet with a nice terrace and quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning didn't blow directly onto the bed which makes it more comfortable. It was not far to the blue bay beach. It was a perfect stay for our last 3 nights on Mauritius.

Magnificent for the whole experience.

Magnificent place giving directly to one of the most beautiful coastline of Mauritius. The Blue Bay public beach not far from the location is just amazing with the Blue Bay Marine Park.

Very good

from the pictures you can‘t see well, that this Apartment was at the back of the main house, means no sea view and due to the location not airy. But the owner Cecilia was very kind and is a great and wonderful host. She offered us another Apartment for the next day, but that was too big for us, so we changed to another place and she was very helpful and generous to give us a refund of the nights we cancelled. Still the location is very good with nice beaches for swimming and perfect snorkeling right in front of the main house. We recommend it to anyone who looks for a place close to Blue Bay, but not beeing in the crowd.

Also consider the planes flying almost over the house from the near Airport, but luckily there are not all the time and the fantastic snorkeling made it all up

OK stay

Close to beach, garden. Everyday cleaning is a plus. Garden animals :)

Little bit loud (at the time of our stay), kitchen equipment (stove) out of date, street is dark at evenings.
