A stunning find with a beautiful fynbos garden and superb views. There were so many little details that made it special, from the delicious rusks to the pretty pool towels (which we sadly didn't get to use). The bird life around you is amazing and the N2, which I had worried looked quite close, wasn't heard at all. It feels very rural and yet you are in a town, although Sunday night I felt for the fellow traveller looking for a taxi and a restaurant in vain. Don't miss Tredici's yummy boerewors for breakfast - with an equally stunning view.

Everything! The hosts put out everything you could need (spices, oil etc) and it felt very homey. Very clean.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Bathroom was modern and spotless. Lovely kitchenette area. Stunning view from our upstairs verandah. Beautiful pool and garden to walk in. Our hostess was very welcoming and explained all the facilities. Safe off-street parking.
Two rather steep sets of stairs to get to our room, which is not easy when carrying all one’s bags and cases. The walls are thin and we could hear the couple talking next door. Luckily they weren’t too noisy. The guest house is kind-of on the outskirts of the central part of town, and we could hear people walking past on their way to work in the morning and talking quite loudly. I thought the price was also quite high considering breakfast was not included.

I was greeted warmly by the staff and the room service was good. A problem with the wi-fi was fixed late on a Saturday afternoon which I appreciated.
I stayed in a well-equipped self-catering unit on ground level. The room is spacious with its own balcony overlooking the garden and mountains in the background. The bed is comfortable and has a nice view of the mountains and the garden. The kitchenette has everything you need.
Unfortunately there was a bad drain smell in the bathroom of this unit which got worse at night when the doors and windows of the unit were closed. Even closing the bathroom door did not help much. Not pleasant at all...
