This was hands down the best hotel experience of my life, and this is coming from someone who has traveled around the world since childhood. The owner and her staff are so dedicated, kind, helpful, and beyond. You will feel right at home and extremely safe. The staff was giving us advice on where to go, what to visit, and where to eat. For instance, they even helped us with dinner reservations when we had issues.
In summary, (because I could go on and on): the breakfast is exquisite, the rooms are so well decorated (the pictures don't give them justice), the owner and her staff are the kindest people. I went to other hotels in Mindelo and they do not compare to what Kira's has to offer.
Two words: Book it

Our stay at Kira’s Boutique Hotel in Mindelo was absolutely exceptional.
The hotel itself is charming, peaceful and beautifully maintained, with excellent attention to detail, very comfortable rooms and a warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home.
What truly made our experience outstanding, however, was the remarkable quality of service and the exceptional management of the manager and owner Isabel. Her professionalism, kindness, efficiency and genuine care for guests are rare and truly memorable. She creates an atmosphere of hospitality that elevates the entire experience.
Every recommendation, every interaction and every detail was handled with great care and elegance.
Kira’s is not simply a hotel — it is a place with soul, where guests are welcomed with authenticity and intelligence.
Without hesitation, a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mindelo and São Vicente.
