Beautiful rooms in a stunning location amongst the vines.
The location, the bathrooms are exquisite, large and palatial. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and served on the terrace looking over the vineyards. The personal wine tour by the owner was personal and informative

it was nice and quiet, but would have preferred to have some staff on site
loved the location of the chateau! was close to the wineries. very quiet and comfortable
since it was a weekend, there was minimal staff present. we did not get a chance to exchange towels as there was nobody at the chateau. this was a bummer

A lovely property with comfortable accommodations but lacking in the warmth & hospitality a true B&B should have
The grounds are breathtaking, with so much attention to beautiful landscaping. The rooms are charming and comfortable and the bathrooms are very spacious with a luxurious bathtub to enjoy. The breakfast was tasty with a nice selection of breads, fruit, eggs, juice and coffee.
There was never any staff around, so it felt a bit weird and unwelcoming. We checked in on a Sunday at 3pm and according to the pre-arrival message, someone would be there to receive us. We showed up and all of the facilities were locked up with no one in sight. There was a small bag with a key in it, but the name written on it wasn’t ours, so we were left feeling confused. We waited around for awhile and realized no one was coming, so we just used the key and saw no one for the rest of the day/night. Also, I had sent a message before our arrival asking for more information about the vineyard tour and tasting and no one ever responded to it. However, there appeared to be a tour going on the day after we checked-in, which we only noticed as people were leaving the property in the afternoon. Perhaps it was a private group, but if felt uncomfortable being the only other people staying at the chateau and having zero interaction from staff or seeing any other guests. We booked this expecting a B&B experience where you mingle with other people, learn about wine, etc. but the whole vibe was a bit cold and isolating. The one woman on the staff we did see at breakfast was very lovely, but we were unfortunately unable to communicate with her due to the language barrier (although the property is advertised as multi-lingual), so it was an unexpected additional challenge. We are very easy to please and low-maintenance, but this did not live up to the expectation and cost of the “experience” advertised.
