All is very good

The garden, the peace, the ambience and a bonus was the staff who were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back and bring others with us.

Wonderful park and accommodation

It is set in a beautiful location and the gardens are well kept. Lots of good activities to do- zip line, table tennis, pool and football. This kept the kids entertained.
Be aware the tents are very close together. There are huge grounds so I’m not sure why this is necessary as it can be loud due to other guests.
There were no bottles in room or eco friendly refills- this was the only place in Kenya we stayed which didn’t offer the guests water. Given you can’t drink from the tap this was not good.
If you get meals on site they don’t give you an itemised list/bill of what you have ordered and just add the amount to the bill at the end of your stay. Not being able to check what you are spending and whether they have accurately recorded what you ordered is bizarre. Even when we got the bill at the end it wasn’t itemised. This needs to change.
We had two garden tents and so were offered a more limited menu for breakfast. This didn’t make us feel valued as guests but then to make this worse when we ordered from the limited 5 options they didn’t have all items. The difference in price should be for the room not the food. We left breakfast hungry and needing more food. Again not something I have ever seen in accommodation before. It should change.
Other things to be aware before booking:
We were contacted before on WhatsApp to confirm our booking. This was a scam. We let them know but they didn’t seem to want to do anything about it.
Bathroom is too far away from main tents - we had young children and this posed a problem for them.
There are incessant dogs barking in the night - this woke us up and even my kids one night who didn’t go back to sleep from 2am. The tents are also next a busy main road with horns beeping throughout the night.
It is very cold at night and in the morning
The pool is freezing so fine if you like cold therapy but too cold for our kids even on a warmer day.
