Maria was super kind and attentive, and her husband was extremely funny. We got sick and she even prepared a ginger tea for us.
The room was clean and comfortable, the location is also perfect in a safe neighborhood. Our room had an ocean view. 😌🌊
They prepared a delicious breakfast for us and we could choose either continental breakfast or the Ecuadorian breakfast (bolón/ patacones).
We would definitely stay here again if we come to Puerto López.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lady in charge did all she could to make us feel at home. You get a wonderful view from the terrace right outside your room or from the terrace on the third floor. You get to use the kitchen which is very handy if you are on a budget. You get to exercise a bit walking to the beach and restaurants. Nights are peaceful and quiet so you have a good night's sleep.
These are just suggestions to make the visitor's stay more comfortable, add a chair or small bedside table. We were four people sharing the bathroom, we definitely needed some shelves to leave our toothbrushes and toothpaste somewhere.

The hostel was in very good condition, room was clean & the bathroom as well.
The staff is really really kind, lovely people!
The location is a bit far from the center but you can walk there or take a moto-taxi, but the view on the ocean was great, we even saw some whales from the balcony.
All good.
