Upgrade was beschikbaar en we werden getrakteerd op een schitterende suite.
Restaurant was prima. Goede tips gekregen over bezoek aan restaurants in de buurt

The suite was beautiful in a bit of a Scandi cold style, but beautifully done, very comfortable and clean. The light in the bathroom was a bit low for make up but otherwise beautiful bathroom. Spa facilites very limited because of Covid
The service to accompany the price was not there, no one on staff to carry bags to room, asked them for a hairdresser and they said "it was fully booked" when there were 3 other hairdressers in the village and plenty elsewhere nearby, took 5 min on the net to find one. The only lightbulb in the WC burnt and it took them most of a day to change it, which you would not expect when you're paying 700Eur/night. Overall, not a "can do" attitude, exactly the opposite. Their cancellation policy was also not what you would expect, tried to cancel a 3 day weekend stay with 3 days notice because of a Covid situation that presented itself, and they said that because we booked through Booking.com, we had to pay for the whole stay, and that had we booked directly, they would only charge one night. Booking said that it was up to the hotel and contacted them to ask but they wouldn't budge. In the end, we could go so it was fine but it was definitely stressful and unpleasant at the time, and left us wondering if it was related to them being short on staff and service
