The view, the kindness of the owner and the staff, and the location.

This is really a detail but having a broom to remove the water in the bathroom would have been great to avoid having water everywhere when needing to use the toilet.

Nuestra estancia en el Avalon House fue el comienzo perfecto para nuestro trekking por el Annapurna. El hotel está estratégicamente ubicado en las puertas de Thamel, lo que significa que puedes llegar a pie a todos los restaurantes y tiendas, pero al regresar, te encuentras con un oasis de tranquilidad lejos del bullicio constante. Dormimos de maravilla todas las noches. Lo que realmente hace inolvidable a este alojamiento es el ambiente familiar y el servicio de Saput, el director. Es una persona sumamente gentil, amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar con todo lo que necesites. Siguiendo sus recomendaciones, comimos en lugares auténticos y deliciosos. Además, nos gestionó personalmente los billetes de bus a Besisahar, lo que nos ahorró mucha incertidumbre y tiempo. El hotel cuenta con conexión súper rápida de wifi en todo el edificio, de hecho durante el desayuno en la terraza aprovechamos para hacer nuestro journaling del día anterior. En cuanto a las instalaciones: * Impresionantemente limpio y cómodo. * Nuestra habitación doble era amplia, con una cama muy cómoda y baño privado. * Las vistas al valle desde la habitación eran preciosas. * La terraza es un lugar divino para disfrutar del desayuno incluido. * También cuenta con una acogedora sala de estar en la planta baja con un jardín hermoso, ideal para relajarse con un té. Sin duda, es un lugar al que volveríamos y que recomendamos sin reservas a cualquier viajero.

The location, the very nice and incredibly helpful staff, the view from the balcony, and the comfy beds

Its close to shops. The breakfast and chai tea was very good. The rooftop view was very nice.

Beaten down furniture. Stained sheets. Marks on the walls. Bathroom is moldy. Overall aesthetics needs a lot of work. I wouldn't feel comfortable walking alone in the neighbourhood. Even when I was with my travel companions we were constantly being approached by persistent people. Ignoring them worked.
