Owners are very kind and helpful. Laundry available for a fee. Decent location, 5-minute walk from Akado Shogakkomae station on the NT Line. Much more residential feel.
Room was incredibly small and tight, even by Japanese standards. Showers would only get warm water, couldn't get it hot. The common area was a bit limited, always busy.

I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, Tom. He had an interesting career prior to his 'retirement' as a guest house owner and host. He and his wife were excellent hosts. The facilities were very clean. Sitting up on the rooftop terrace watching the sunset over Tokyo and chatting with fellow travelers was a highlight.
The property, the hosts, the location and the affordability were all fine. The rooms are small, but that's as described in the listing. The only annoyance was one evening when some guests arriving back late were inconsiderate as far as their noise level.

The best part of our stay was definitely the hosts. They are an incredibly kind and friendly couple who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality, local recommendations, and genuine care for their guests made our experience truly special. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well located, but it was the warm atmosphere created by the hosts that made this stay unforgettable.

The room is too small to fit the luggages.
No appropriate zoning, washing basin are in the corridor-->People start using hair dryer at 6am and stop after midnight. Unable to get long good sleep.
