The location was perfect for my stay. It was a 5 minute walk from where I lived as a little boy and where my cousin and her husband now live. I really did not need the amenities but they were certainly available. The place was spotless which always makes one feel comfortable. Fuhlenbrock is a neighbourhood in Bottrop, not down town, so there are no big crowds. There is a supermarket, some restaurants, some pubs that are open (11-2) then 6 to closing. The farmer's market is on Thursday. Also downtown is very easy to get to. I strongly recommend this place.

This place was lovely. Everything you need. We have stayed here before and definitely will again.

The only negative is the language barrier between us and the owners. They don’t speak English. Fortunately on this occasion there was a tenant there that did speak English so he helped out. First time we stayed 2 years ago we had to guess what the owner was saying in regards to key etc.
