We stayed here as a family of five while visiting Lake Bohinj, and it was the perfect peaceful getaway.
If you’ve hired a car, I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s close enough to the town to be convenient, but surrounded by beautiful greenery, making it feel peaceful and relaxing. It’s also just a short drive to both the lake and the town.
The accommodation was perfect for our family of five, including three teenagers. They had their own bedroom with three single beds, while we had a separate double bedroom with a TV. It’s not always easy to find accommodation that works well for a family with three children, but this setup was ideal for us.
Everything was clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed after busy days enjoying activities around the lake.
The real highlight, though, was the breakfast. There was genuinely something for everyone and plenty to keep us energised for a full day of exploring. There were hot and cold options, including continental cold cuts and cheeses, fresh eggs, cereals, pastries and a selection of delicious local specialities.
The whole team were also really friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
If you’re planning a trip to Lake Bohinj or exploring the surrounding area, I’d definitely recommend staying here. It was a great base for our family and somewhere we were very happy to return to after a busy day.

Nice outside bar and wintergarden to eat breakfast. Lovely sunset lookout from the end of the village. Free Wi-Fi.
It was too expensive for what we got: A few kms out of town; a broken TV; instant coffee for breakfast & road noise from room 13. There's isn't anything to do around there, so the broken TV in the evening was a real bummer.

The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. The shower pressure is amazing. The location is a 15 min drive to Bohinj lake and 7 min to great restaurants. The staff were very helpful, parking was easy, and breakfast was solid.

The location, 15 min from bohinj, 30 min from bled, fantastic quite area.
The people who work there - young, happy, helpful
The best - the breakfast was absolutely delicious, great variety.
It's so outdated, it doesn't have to be super modern but it cannot feel like it's the 80s,
the squeaky doors, uncomfortable squeaky beds, cramped bathroom, everything is just old...
The worst part it cost me $220 night, when - if I'm being completely honest - shouldn't be more than $100 a night, simple as that.
