Rude and terrible!
Staff was unpleasant and of no help. Room was dirty and missing things. Had to buy our own toilet paper. Then the worst was the host having parties right above us with her friends till 3 in the morning making loads of noise. Absolutely unprofessional and rude!!!

Disappointing
Horses. The area of hotel's location looks awesome.
First two times was OK, until third time we got small room (2,5m x 2,5m) with even smaller bed. I am big guy, so almost three weeks in that kind of environment was not cool. During our long stay no one even bothered to ask us what we need. There was no towels, so remember to take one with you, there was no kitchen available in the building where our room was, no one changed our bed sheets, no one cleaned floors, there was also nothing to clean the room with. No light at corridor was also not cool.

Great place for relaxing in beautiful nature!
Wonderful countryside, property is immersed in vast hill landscape. With several horses - can very well imagine the horse riding aficionados among us finding their paradise here. Peaceful surroundings and very friendly staff. Quick and uncomplicated checkin and checkout. Option to eat open air, at a big table. And even BBQ equipment outside. Relaxing spaces to freely walk around, meeting horses and a flock of curious geese. Total privacy as well, you are competely left in peace, still there is peaceful life around everywhere. Which for me was pleasant. On that note - before getting here I had read a poster complaining about "indifferent" acting & looking young people hanging around the premises. During my stay I encountered some of these I think - they told me they were folks who either have their own horse there or contribute periodically for the occasion of horse riding, without owning one themselves. So, question: Couldn't it be that you had encountered one of those 'external staff', too? Might explain why they did not actively care for arrival /departure traffic. Just a thought. The room including bathroom was very clean - so whatever problems might have been there in the past, at least in my room (#1) I did not encounter them. Oh and the bathroom *does* have bright daylight! Did I mention fine quick WLAN. The room is advertised without, but the property owners were gracious enough to let me use their network.
The room itself (#1) is quite dark, hardly daylight in it, which makes staying there for a few hours a bit heavy - lest you need absence of daylight and need that kind of quiet of course. Then it's just perfect. Can imagine someone suffering from migraines or hypertension, for instance - certainly no mocking intended here but seriously, if you're one of those folks I'd suggest get room#1 and you'll get better in no time. Once you get used to the dimly lit space it can be very cozy. Depends a bit on your own mood & situation, I suppose. There is an electric 1-pit cooking plate - never found out how to activate that one. Appeared to be switched on all the time, tried various common sense moves to get it working, but nothing happened. In other words: Bring your own device, be smarter than my sort or have a plan B ready for hot meals. Mine were local supermarkets and restaurants. The former being open at least until 8pm, Monday to Saturday. Some even up to 10 pm.
