Me persoanlly, I liked it because I grew up in the 70's and it reminded me of home.
My son stayed there earlier this year and he said it was quite dated but I like that.
I will book there again on our next visit.
There was no resterauant but if there was we would have eaten there at least once.
Probably that the room we stayed in you entered from the rear of the unit. If you cleared the garden and could park and enter from the front and have the verandah more usable.

Very friendly staff. Convenient location (just a few minutes from the hospital, where a family member was admitted). Spacious, clean room, plenty of counter space, room for luggage, etc. Great cooking facilities. I was surprised to see a toaster oven with 2 hotplates on top, and a good sized pot and 2 frying pans! I don't think this was listed in "what's included", but it's worth mentioning as it could help someone decide where to stay, if they prefer not to use the microwave.
I was pleasantly surprised by the back door to a shared balcony. I had lunch out there, just 3 feet away from the most gorgeous gum blossoms!
The room was a little dated/worn around the edges...but this didn't bother me at all. Might bother others.
The bedding was very light, but I was warm enough if I kept the heating on all night (and I had my hot water bottle!)

Location.
A bit noisy from passing traffic. Double bed was hard and uncomfortable. Carpet needs a good clean.
