Very comfortable stay, good value for money, good if only eating out.
I hate small country 60mph roads, no local supermarkets (nearest supermarket is in Fleetwood), nearest local shop is extortionate pricing being the nearest, ** beware of hidden heating cost not mentioned on the website.

We booked cottages 1 and 2 as a family and can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we have had. The owners were very friendly and helpful with really great information on local places of interest. Great fishing on site and plenty of great walks. The peacocks roaming the grounds were delightful ! The cottages had everything you need, cottage 1 had a wood fire which everyone gravitated to in the evening. The beds were really comfortable in fact we couldn’t find anything negative to say about either of the cottages - simply wonderful and we will be returning. Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful time, didn’t want to leave

Comfortable bed, plenty of space.
Central heating was not adequate for the cold weather . There is a wood burner available which is necessary so ensure you have matches.
We were surprised to discover an additional charge of £30 for heating as this isn't mentioned on Booking.com website.

Lovely cottage with everything you need. Nice out door seating area, grass area and washing line ( although a few more pegs would help ). Comfortable beds and lots of towels supplied.
Peacocks, Guinea foul and hens for neighbours and a sighting of a barn owl. Had a great stay.
Curtains at the bedroom windows would be nice.
