Great location and views from the breakfast area.

We stayed there the last time we were in Peru. We loved the view from the breakfast area, and we went there every evening to have our own "happy hour". We were also able to put leftovers in the refrigerator. The location was great - very close to the main square and many restaurants. Good value.

Breakfast was served later than advertised (usually 7:15-7:20am instead of 7:00am), and we had to rush to make it to our 7:30am pickup for our tours. Also, we had 5 people at our table and only got one coffee and creamer. We asked for another, but never received it. We ended up bringing our own instant coffee.

Superb

Great value for money hotel. Good beds, hot shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. We booked a night extra because we liked it so much and slept like babies :-)

Exceptional

Hot showers, kettle in the room (great for making coca tea to help with altitude), really comfortable bed and exceptionally clean. The cleaner changed our bed sheets and clean towels every day - excellent stay, would definitely recommend.

Very good

The rooftop breakfast area had great views of several snow-capped mountains and of the area in general. All interactions with staff were courteous and helpful. Located within a couple of blocks of the main plaza it was easy to get to travel agencies, local market, restaurants and other services.

Pleasant

The staff was very friendly, location was close to the main area. Able to store luggage while we went on multi day hikes.

Many problems during the stay, such as no hot water, toilet flush not working, and no water on one of the nights. Breakfast was repetitive. The rooms were quite cold at night.

Superb

Lovely hotel close to Plaza de Armas, maybe 5 minute walk. Very comfortable bed and a hot shower! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The terrace offers stunning views over the city and surrounding mountains.

The included breakfast was a little small, but otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

Great location and value

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the central location and many things within walking distance, a grocery store, atm, restaurants, and more! The guest house is cozy and good value per night. We loved the rooftop patio and dining area. Breakfast was good and offered eggs, coffee, tea, and bread. Felt secure and safe staying here.

The rooms were a bit small and not updated. Beds are a bit small but comfortable. It is very noisy outside throughout the night but expected with it being in the town center. Bring ear plugs and eye mask.

Solid hostel

Good location close to various trekking companies, nice restaurants and the main square.

It’s very noisy and consequently hard to sleep in the rooms facing the street. The bed isn’t particularly comfortable and the breakfast is basic.

Superb

Friendly staff and kept our luggage free of charge while trekking and allowed us to shower on our return for a small fee.

Although very clean, room was basic and very outdated and could do with a coat of paint. But still decent value for money!

The rooms were a great value but I’ll remember most the friendliness of the staff.

The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more accommodating, I recommend.

The noise on the street below, but it wasn’t excessive bad.

Comfy with great locations, excellent wifi and helpful staff

Super comfy bed with roomy rooms, good wifi and decent cable TV selection (not that I used it given all the hiking options!). Super nice staff and easy to arrange trips via their partner place Jackle Backpackers. Great value for money and would certainly use again.

Breakfast was basic but fulfilling with ample coffee - you will miss it if you have an early 5am trek or day trip so you will have to ask ahead of time for this. I wasn't under the impression they are accustomed to regularly packing an early "to go" brekkie though, that said, they did this for me on the final day when I asked. Much appreciated.

I like the feel of the place. But the noise of taxis beeping all day is an annoyance.

Great female staff. But one day a man was on duty , seemingly, and the desk was abandoned most of the day.

It is not their fault but a dog at a nearby intersection was barking after 5 a lot.

Wonderful place to stay in Huaraz

Wonderful stay in the very center of the city. The guesthouse is very nice with a beautiful terrace, staff is super helpful and friendly, breakfast is great. The place really felt like home. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend.
