Wir sind eine Familie mit fünf Personen (drei Kinder zwischen 12 und 19 Jahren) und haben Anfang August drei Nächte in diesem Two-Bedroom-Apartment am Comer See verbracht.
Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich schön: Sie liegt am Hang und ist über eine Abkürzung direkt an der Grundstücksgrenze in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß vom Ortszentrum erreichbar. Der Weg ist allerdings nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Vom Ort aus kann man bequem mit der Fähre beispielsweise nach Bellagio oder Varenna fahren. Der Ort selbst ist sehr schön und bietet einige Restaurants, Geschäfte und weitere Annehmlichkeiten.
Das Apartment verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer sowie eine Schlafcouch auf einer Empore unter dem Dach, sodass insgesamt bis zu sechs Personen untergebracht werden können. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die fantastische Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer und den Schlafzimmern. Auch vom großen Balkon hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über den See.
Das Apartment war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber, ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Der Check-in verlief völlig unkompliziert, da sich der Schlüssel in einer Schlüsselbox befand. Sehr gefreut haben wir uns auch über das liebevoll zusammengestellte Willkommenspaket mit kleinen Lebensmitteln, Milch, Frühstücksprodukten und sogar einer Flasche Wein.
Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht. Es stehen jedoch ausreichend Ventilatoren zur Verfügung. Während unseres Aufenthalts Anfang August war es sehr heiß, trotzdem war die Temperatur in der Wohnung mit den Ventilatoren noch gut auszuhalten. Allerdings haben wir während unseres Aufenthalts nicht selbst gekocht bzw. in der Wohnung gegessen, sodass wir die Situation bei intensiver Nutzung der Küche nicht beurteilen können.
Wichtig zu wissen: Der Pool darf nur mit Badekappe benutzt werden.
Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Apartment eignet sich besonders gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge am Comer See und überzeugt vor allem durch die wunderschöne Lage, die tolle Aussicht, die Sauberkeit und die unkomplizierte Abwicklung

The view was exceptional and location very central.
House was spacious and well equipped.
Only small issues- there were no lights upstairs, not enough sun loungers at the pool and no air conditioning.
The kids would have liked to use floats in the pool but I understand it’s a shared area

The best thing about this property is the view - it is just outstanding! There are 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. The location is actually less than 10 mins walk down into Menaggio, but it is gated, secure and quiet. Lovely pool.
This property is just a little tired and would benefit from renovation. Eg shower head kept falling down, fridge door is opened by screwed in chain loops. Everything kind of works but with a little work could be outstanding. Note you have to wear swimming caps in the pool (our daughter was told off!)

We liked the location of the property and the lovely view of the lake.
The apartment was not clean and is in desperate need of a refurbishment. There were numerous issues and feedback to the company following our stay did not even receive an acknowledgment. Is is clear that there is no interest in improving guest’s stays. The condition of the property and the facilities led to a disappointing stay. I would not recommend.
