The hotel room is very comfortable. The Horizon Lounge is always a pleasant experience.
The reception received was not as warm and welcoming as it usually is (it's my third stay at a Shangri-la in 8 months). The breakfast buffet was also not nearly as comprehensive as it was before. On previous visits, I was really made to feel welcomed but this time felt colder than usual. I was disappointed to discover, upon arrival, that I had only been booked for one breakfast. The application only asked if I wanted to include breakfast but not how many. However, after having my one breakfast, I am happy that I did not spend the money on the buffet for every morning that I was booked there for, as I was greatly disappointed to see how small the buffet had become from what it was less than a year before.
